- Harry got the snitch, risking his life and almost crashing to the ground at high speed. Regulus pulled back because he says no game his worth that much.
- Savannah flew like a possessed woman and yelled at anyone who missed.
- This is set right after the game

"Did you tell Jamie? What does he say?" Scorpius asked, suddenly curious. "And again, it makes sense, neither denies that it's a possibility and well, we can count up to nine." He grinned. "Forget about Scarlet. I'll make a fortune if I write that book."

He nodded. "I'm still going to help Kirley with the club and the pool. I think that would be fun for everyone. You'll be there, right?" Scorpius asked, knowing that he'd have to keep asking or Al would pretend to forget that they even had a club and a pool.

"What about you? Have you been getting to know people?" Scorpius could worry about Al's job after he got to speak to the rest of their little community. "It's important that you do."

"Funny enough, it hasn't come up with Jamie." It hadn't even occured to him to tell his brother. "Jamie's 'quick birth' has always been an open secret. But I guess I could run it by him?" He shrugged. "I want a signed copy when you're famous."

Al ran a hand through his hair unconsciously.

"Uh, yeah. Totally." If Scorpius kept at it he supposed he would. It wasn't exactly something he'd seek out for himself.

"I, uh, I talked to your grandfather." He had meant to tell Scorpius right away, but he'd needed a few hours to stop freaking out afterwards and then it had just never come up. "At dinner, the other day."

"How does that not come up?" Scorpius asked confused. "How do you not share such vital piece of information with your brother? Do you even talk to him? Really Al, you need to do better with the gossip." He grinned. "You will have the very first copy, signed of course."

Scorpius rolled his eyes. "Could you manage to sound any less interested? It's a pool! It'll have a sauna. It'll be fun! You do know what that means, right?"

He suddenly turned very serious. "Did you? And how did that go?" he asked, eyes suddenly moving to find his grandfather in the crowd.

"We'renot usually in the habit of discussing our fathers love life," he laughed. "But I'll get right on that and bring back his opinion. For the book, of course."

Al just shrugged. He did like to swim in theory, but pools usually meant people. People in swimsuits, specifically, and that was always just weird.

"I'll swim with you." He wasn't sure about the sauna though. He didn't like to take his clothes off around other people.

Al shrugged, awkward in a way he usually wasn't around Scorpius.

"I, uh, I may have, uh, gotten into it. With him. About, uh, about you."

"Neither am I normally, but then I don't think he's had one in a long time. We're back to the love crossed story and how he simply gave up on relationships. Really it's so clear. I have no idea how you wouldn't share, tsk, tsk." He'd have to corner Jamie at some point if Al forgot to tell him. "I'm glad that you can make the effort for the book."

"Sounds good. I can't wait for it to happen," he said, and yes, going into a pool was a little strange, but he was feeling more at ease with his body now that he was modelling.

Scorpius raised his eyebrow in a very Malfoy way. "You got into it with my grandfather? About me? Please explain."

Al stopped walking, playing with his hair so much it was nearly standing on end.

"He, uh, he was saying some things. About you, your job, really. Things like, wanting you to live up to your potential. I, uh, may have told him off. Said you were brilliant, and, uh, that modeling was, that you were the best at it, and, and that you'd worked really hard, and, uh, that that he didn't get to say those sorts of things. About you."

Scorpius smiled a little. "Did you tell him while you were stuttering? The humming must have driven him insane." His grandfather had never had any tolerance for hesitation and Albus was terrible at talking to people.

"Thank you. I know you mean it, but my grandfather- this man here, he's from 1995. He doesn't know that modeling is even a career. You shouldn't get mad over something like that. I know I won't. I will keep telling him stories about our life together and how him that I was successful, but getting angry because they don't understand our world-" He shrugged. "I don't think we understand theirs either. I just refuse to let the differences break my family apart."

Albus blushed, because he had been stuttering. Very, very badly. And it likely had annoyed the elder Malfoy to no end.

"I just don't think anyway should talk about you like that," he mumbled. Few things got Albus truly worked up, and they were named Scorpius, Lily, and Jamie. "But, uh, if I talk to him again I'll, I'll try to be nicer to him. You guys have lunch after this, right?"

"I'm not saying that you need to be nice. I'm saying that you shouldn't fight on my account. I can fight my own battle and honestly, it's not one that I want to fight, not when my job is gone at the moment." Scorpius didn't know if and when they could get out of the country but until then there was little that he could do.

"Yes, we're having lunch again this week. Hopefully, every week," Scorpius said with a smile. "They are a little strange right now but I tell them all about us, and hopefully with time, they won't be so strange."

Al nodded. It was Scorpius' life, after all. Al could keep his temper if need be.

"That's good. I'm glad you and your dad are getting along so well." He'd always liked Mr. Malfoy. He hadn't known him that well, but he'd been at the Malfoy's for dinner more than once. Sometimes he secretly thought he preferred it there to his own home, and certainly more than the burrow. It was a small family, with polite conversations and no one yelling or exploding things or arguing.

"We are! He likes to listen to the stories and I have plenty to tell him," he said with a grin. "Although I should probably get ready for lunch." He knew that it was stupid but he liked to look his best when having lunch with his family.

"I need time for my hair and make up. The sun and wind really do a number on it," he said. "Come on let's walk inside and you can keep me company while I get ready."
