Wanted lines! Time to plot! Time passes so quickly it ceases to hold any meaning for me! Take this as an opportunity to discuss character development, and talk about lines you might want to build with one another.

Current State:

Unlucky in Love: AKA Ravi and Diego Drag This Thing Out Forever. Diego's still suffering over being rejected by Ravi, and he's lonely and sad and wallowing in it because what else can he do??? If Ravi hasn't come around before the Grotto party, he's going to do more stupid shit.

He's basically over Cecil. He's coped with this by shifting Cecil over into the sibling love category. Please don't think too hard about how Diego once wanted to make out with a guy he now thinks of as a brother. Excessive hugs and hand holding are back on the table.

Trying to be good... ish. He's made a promise to only set himself on fire when he's unlikely to catch adjoining humans ablaze as well.

Threesome what??? Diego has no idea how to process the implication that two girls might want a threesome with him. (And he'd still pick you over a threesome with two amazingly hot girls, Ravi. So, like, congratulations.)

Worried About the Quayles. Cricket was very kind to him when he was suffering once, and he wishes he could do the same for her but he's floundering a little about what to do. He probably went and did some searching and obviously turned up a whole lot of nothing.

Thinks Everyone Dislikes Him and He's Very Annoying. This is the background noise of his life, but the anon post kind of brought it to the forefront. He's trying, once again, to not act weird and burdensome. The only people who probably get to see him unravelling right now are Cecil and Mina.

Once he's dating Ravi he's going to go through a Having A Boyfriend Has Fixed All My Problems!!! phase that will obviously not last forever because even nearly literal Prince Charming can't save you from all your emotional baggage and anxiety.

Looking For:

Anyone want to make Ravi jealous??? No guarantees on this actually happening, but if Ravi hasn't been wooed by Diego's melodrama and sad puppydog eyes, he's going to be living free and throwing himself at people. Aaaand maybe seeing if Ravi cares at all if he makes out with someone in front of him. ANY TAKERS?!?

WHATEVER ELSE. I'm open to any ideas you have, especially if anyone wants to reignite a neglected friendship with Diego. I've been busy so he's less accessible than he should be. :(((

Anything Else: I've been really overwhelmed lately so if I've dropped threads on you with wild abandon lately... I'm sorry. :(

tbh i am kind of concerned about how long they're going to drag this out because wow ravi is being soooooo stubborn about this. we had a plan for how they were going to fuck up their relationship but no plan for how they're going to fix it??? classic m&m honestly

i think after talking to... some of his friends plus quinn on the anon post plus that agonizing conversation with diego yesterday, ravi is starting to realize he's making himself needlessly miserable. unfortunately, he's also very stubborn once he's made up his mind about something, and taking that step would be a) admitting he was wrong about a bunch of things and b) upending what ravi decided his life is supposed to look like. ravi likes sure bets and hates risky situations, and diego is a flaming dumpster with hazard symbols all over it :'(

anyway, admitting he was wrong is definitely a step ravi needs to take! i don't see a clear way yet, and i imagine ravi's been distracted anyway trying to help with the ulysses situation. i should push him to talk to his friends more after that's wrapped up, JUST IN TIME FOR THE GROTTO PARTY. trying to make ravi jealous is a strategy that might actually work???? except ravi will just... walk out of the party and try to suppress his emotions lmao. diego you do not want to date this guy, he's secretly a wreck
