Aviya put the coin purse in her purse with a sigh. This whole exchange thing was driving her up a wall. Having to calculate from pounds to gold and back gave her a headache. Mostly because she never did all that good at math. She just hoped her calculator would help. She slung her purse over her shoulder and moved down the street. It was still relatively quiet, which she was grateful for. She never did like the throng of people that used to swarm the place. Even when they'd been allowed out she'd preferred to stay inside. Crowds where never her thing.

She regretted not bringing a coat, it was a bit chilly out. She wouldn't be here long, and if anything after she'd gotten everything she could hide in one of the resteraunts and warm up. She smiled to herself as she continued to move, her eyes moving from place to place. Even after so long, the difference of this world still stunned her. She paused then, noticing something off. Out of place, you could say. She noticed a piece of paper in a flowerpot. Knowing most shopkeeps kept their property fairly clean she decided to check it out. Maybe it was a coupon. She took the paper out and turned it around, frowning to the message "Apples? What?"

It confused her, but she shrugged and put it in her purse. Maybe someone at work would know more. Or it was a prank. You never knew.

Boredom; Todd dealt with it rather badly, and always had. To someone who always had traveled and left behind city after city, being forced to stay into hiding was scarily close to pure torment. And that made him reckless, to a degree.

He wasn't entirely certain if Narcissa knew that he was out. The chance that she would hex him within an inch of his life upon discovering that he was in her kitchen, peeking into the cupboards for leftovers and his favorite dessert, was a very real one. But he liked to believe that he was permitted to do so, as long as he'd covered his tracks.

"Where does she stash the oh so delicious snacks of sin?" He wondered as he carefully closed yet another door of a kitchen cabinet, and moved to another. "She's a woman, she's got to have comfort food somewhere."

Michael was feeling a little better about, well... life in general after talking to Roger and getting good and drunk. Still, he didn't tell his family where he was going this afternoon. They were used to him going out to meet girls, but he was sure that at least one of them would be able to tell he was hiding something from them, and he really didn't want them to know about this. Though it could have been worse; she could have been Muggle-born, or a Muggle, which was about the same in his father's eyes. But getting a pureblood girl knocked up wasn't all that much better.

With a sigh, he Apparated straight out of his room to the Leaky Cauldron, then used the secret exit to get into Diagon Alley. There was a light drizzle, so he cast an impervius charm for the walk down to the shop. He looked around at the sparsely-attended shop and saw that he was the first one there. He took a table near the window so she'd be able to find him easily. A waitress came to ask for his order. "Not yet," he told her. "I'm waiting for someone." She nodded and walked off. He rested his elbows on the table, wondering what Aveline could possibly want to talk about. Maybe she'd changed her mind about wanting help, or money. Well, he'd just have to wait and find out.

What: Have date two. Really? And she hasn't tried to kill him yet?

Rating: PG-ish, depending on how angry the subject of the caricature gets about it...

Dean had been having a good day--a lucrative one. He'd set himself up, with his easel and his wall of samples, a ways down the road, near Weasley's Wizard Wheezes. He figured that the sort of person who went down that way was also the sort of person who would enjoy a caricature, and so far his guess had paid off. Of course, it also helped that one of the escaped Death Eaters had recently been captured, and the mood of the shoppers had lightened.

It was for that reason that he was still out there, even as the sun lowered toward the horizon. He knew he should head home--who knew what the numbers of still-at-large Death Eaters were like--but there were still shoppers on the street, and still a chance to profit from one of the things he loved. He offered passers-by hopeful, friendly smiles, his pencil poised.

Who: Bianca and Jasper
What: Bianca goes shopping and bumps into Jasper

Jasper still wasn't quite sure how he'd let Camile talk him into going out, but there he was, waiting outside Camile's flat for his bandmate to answer the doorbell. He wasn't really sure where they were going so he'd changed into something simple and casual after leaving the studio for the day.

Hands shoved into his jeans pockets, Jasper hoped he didn't make a fool of himself wherever they ended up that night.
