I've been thinking about the tags. Some of the tv show fandoms are spin-offs of others, but they can still, essentially, function in the same fandom (you know, BtVS/AtS crossover fics that aren't really crossovers). So, should the memes for spin-off fandoms be tagged with the main fandom as well? For example, a meme for Illyria from Angel would be tagged with "fandom: angel" as well as "fandom: buffy the vampire slayer."

Also, I was thinking about the Final Fantasy tags. Now, I'm not a Final Fantasy fan so I have no idea if I've got it wrong, but technically, they're all the same thing, right? So, maybe I could consolidate all different Final Fantasy tags into one fandom tag and let the friending topic tag differentiate which it is (eg, "fandom: final fantasy, friending topic: final fantasy xii"). Would that work?

Hey guys! friend_me has been rather quiet lately (with the exception of the whoa-my-god massive Snarry post, which has, as of now, 531 comments). There are also qutie a few memes that haven't had a lot of attention, whether it's because of timing or topic, and I thought, since I'm coming up blank on ideas for new memes that others might like, I'd make a list of those and see if anyone wants to go make friends with those. Hi guys! I just wanted to let you know I've added a rule for clarification purposes. It was initially a part of the userinfo as a sort of suggestion, but I've recently realized it requires some clarification. And, minor though it is, I didn't want to go changing the rules without notifying y'all. The new rule looks like this:

5. Memes need to include textboxes or copyable text with the desired information for your memes. I encourage you to use the text in the box below for the info exchanges in your memes, but feel free to add what you feel necessary (favorite moment for a certian character or ship, etc.)

ETA: I was thinking on the rules and realized I should add one more. Since there were some things I'd assumed were obvious, but unspoken, that turned out to not be obvious (though still unspoken), I thought I'd add an obvious one. Here is that obvious one:

6. It should go without saying that non-fandom memes with illegal subjects (that is, subjects illegal in the United States) are not allowed and any posting of them will result in the immediate deletion of the meme and banning of the poster of the meme. See this post for more details about this.
