Who: Sookie and Duck
What: Sookie reading his mind and he tries to lie
Where: In Duck's favorite part of the forrest
When: Late Afternoon
Sookie wasn't paying attention as she veered one way and then another through the groups of people wandering the streets in search of that last minute after Christmas sale. Unconcerned, the short blonde was attempting to keep out the minds that were speaking so loudly. Usually, she could block everyone at the same time, today was different.
She made the decision to go a different way than the people she seemed to be following. But then she heard something about a duck and directions to this duck. Sookie was fascinated by this stranger's rendition about the duck. Being the curious southern belle, she kept with the man thinking about this duck.
Then she realized the duck was just a man's name; but he had information she wanted desperately. He was someone who was familiar with the forest. She needed a place she could go when the voices got so bad that she just had to get away, the forest she thought. He could tell her what she wanted to know. Where the best places were. Sookie had never been a plan girl, but every time she went off half-cocked; something bad happened to her, at least that's how it was in Bon Temps. This time she was going to have a plan in place.
She was lucky, the voice alluded to a place and address.
When she arrived at the place she thought she could find him easily, so she starting calling in a sugar-sweet as honey accent. "Oh Mr. Du ck."
Then it occurred to her that she hadn't told anyone where she was going, she left without telling a soul. Old habits die hard.
