WHO: Aglaia & Eupheme
WHEN: Monday noon
WHERE: A small bakery and cafe in Manhattan
WHAT: Splendor and Acclaim do lunch and mother-daughter bonding
It had been centuries since Aglaia had had a chance to see her daughters in the flesh and it warmed her already usually warm heart to know that Eupheme would soon be there. She missed her little girls, although perhaps not so much as she would have were they not all so much a part of her at all times. All of the things that each of the four younger Graces represented came from Aglaia and her sisters, were little parts of each of them. (It was fair to say that Aglaia missed her sisters more. Alone she was merely beauty but the three of them together represented so much more. All remembered the loveliness of the Three Graces.)
At the cafe Aglaia picked at the apricot scroll on her plate, having arrived a little earlier than she'd meant to. It wasn't the sight of her daughter that caught her though, but the feeling of her. She knew Eupheme was there even before she spotted her. Aglaia stood with a wide smile, reaching out her arms to her daughter.
