She couldn't help but laugh, feeling worlds better around her mother. "I haven't seen you in a while. I know you're well, but other things matter too." She nodded as her mother spoke, "it is beautiful, especially at night with all the lights. I've heard it's wonderful in the snow so I can't wait for that. You should also put down your address so I can drop in." With a smile she took her drink, "too bad, they don't know half of what they are missing. They should be at your feet, and not because of obvious reasons."
She sipped from her drink before setting it down, giving her enough opportunity to think, "well I haven't been here since...well I first came here. I'd forgotten how beautiful this place can get, and they need me again. I have a new place with a real cozy view, which I could use some help decorating, and I don't have anyone. Nobody really feels right." She tended to prefer keeping her critical thoughts behind. Most mortals took her praise as empty compliments, and she had yet to find few partners who weren't willing to take some advantage of it.
