But it seems she doesn't mind, either way, because I'm just the woman who kept Ted away for so long. I want a relationship with her, but I fear it's too late.

Why don't you visit my home instead? If you have the time, I mean. It's very cosy and quiet.

You're her mother. It's never too late for a relationship. I think, after all that happened... If my mother showed up today and asked for my forgiveness I would probably give it to her. I'm sure you have your reasons for keeping Ted away, even if she doesn't understand them. We will figure something out, I promise.

I would love to come to your home. I'll let Dora lock up the store and I'll duck out early.

The Nymphadora I know is but a young girl, only seven, and it can be so hard to reconcile that thought with the beautiful young woman I've met here. I just [...] You know, you aren't wrong there. We can't erase our past here, unfortunately. But we can make a better future, a better life, where the things that kept loved ones apart before don't exist. We can be whoever we choose to be. It'll take time, but I know we can come up with a way to explain things to her in a way that will work. And if that fails, prolific apologies never hurt anyone.

	It's living with Dora, I think. I haven't laughed this much since before things got bad at home. She makes me feel like the twenty-one year old I am, which is a good thing. Don't worry.
