Journal: Lots of messages to lots of people
[Public] -- I know some of you ordered things in time for the American holiday Thanksgiving (Mr. Summers, I'm looking at you). If you did - or had scheduled an end-of-November pick up with me - please schedule a time in the coming week to come pick them up at my flat. Christmas orders will be ready on time, please be sure to pick them up from me before December 23rd, on the 24th I'll be sending anything left over to St Mungo's. (They tend to need more around the holidays, everyone trying new toys and spells and so many family get togethers and all - and yes, this is your local potionsmaster's reminder to be safe in the holiday season).

I'll be taking a bit of time off after the 24th, so get your New Year orders in now and depending on your needs I'll have the first round ready by the third week of January.

+++

[Warded to Alicia] -- I miss you like mad, babe, did you know that? I want to rectify this 'me working far too much' thing - how would you and the twins like a getaway after Christmas? I'll have to meet Sera's daughter by then, and we can spend the New Year skiing and then go to the Islands?

+++

[Warded to Draco] -- How are things going? Was the medical shipment helpful in the opening?

+++

[Warded to Michael] -- So you're working for Draco's new shop? Always new I saw talent there. What are your specialties? Do you freelance at all?

+++

[Warded to Susan] -- I still owe you a birthday drink but before you come stomping down my door to find out where I've been (which I have no doubt you can do), I've got some volatile potions going and they're needed by this month or next so I've scarcely been able to leave the flat. Let's make time soon though, yeah?

+++

[Warded to Millicent] -- Cousin, Mother asked that I get in touch (and in general I am sorry it's been so long). Sera's daughter is due next month and after the New Year there will be a small family get together at my parent's Island estate in the Caribbean. You're more than welcome to join us. I know it must seem odd to invite them rather than Cecilia, but I've my marching orders (and maybe Mother is inviting her sister to something else? I stopped trying to figure out her thinking years ago and Mother always was a bit odd). I'll be accompanied by my girlfriend and her children, as well, and hope you can make it over.

+++

[Warded to Tristan] -- Glad to see you got a journal. Does that mean you've been into Finnigan's Pub? I barely remember him as being a Gryffindor back in school, but he tolerates my very expensive taste in whiskey so I'm always glad to see him at the bar. How's Monday night for you? I should have a nice stopping place in my latest work by then.

Courtesy and with a smile, too, isn't that what you look for in a potionsmaster?

Oh, no? You look for talent and skill and reasonable prices and honest communication? I never would have thought so.
