Finnigan's OOC

Hey all! Jaime here with character #3, Gemma Farley.

Gemma is 29, a Slytherin who graduated at the end of Harry's first year (canonically welcomed 1st year Slytherins and showed them around as their prefect, so she may be remembered from that). Things to know about her:

• Gemma is a remnant from Knockturn Alley, meaning that though she has a lovely legal beauty salon and spa, the authorities don't know that she also sells illegal (aka non-regulation) imported brooms and runs weekly crup-fighting nights. She hasn't met a black market she doesn't like, and I'm pretty sure that if you have a character who's looking for something illegal, she knows someone who can get it - for a price.
  
• She has a gorgeous singing voice and will be often found on Open Mic night and in the choir, as well as the local business group at Finnigan's
  
• Sorry boys but she no longer sleeps with men no matter what they can get her (yes, she's had her fair share of sugar daddies) - she much prefers ladies, and with her own businesses going strong, is no longer in the mood to lay back and think of England ;)
  
• She is tough and intimidating, not to be messed with lightly, but not rude or abrasive - more honey than vinegar. But threaten her and she's pure barbed wire, with or without her wand.

Am up for ALL kinds of plottage :D Remember, you can rename the Alley, but you can't entirely get rid of the culture that inhabited it.

Hello finnigansmod folk! This is Sarah with #2, Astoria Greengrass, soon to be Astoria Malfoy. Astoria is two years younger than the Trio, having finished Hogwarts in 2000. She apprenticed at Twillfit & Tattings in Diagon Alley before becoming a full designer after about a year. She's pureblooded, but she's not a purist, which is why Narcissa approached her mother about the possibility of Astoria marrying Draco. Astoria, however, wanted nothing to do with such an arrangement. It became a HUGE fight in her family, until eventually she agreed to ONE DATE with Draco, and they actually ended up hitting it off. Who knew?

Astoria is shy at first, and that can come across as stand offish, and she takes a little bit to warm up, but she's not actually as much as a snob as she might appear at first glance. However, first impressions are everything to her (ironically enough) so she can quickly judge people, BUT she is willing to talk to pretty much anyone, she just needs 'proper' introduction. She's a bit quiet, but warms up around people she knows. She's a tab bit naive, but she's intelligent, creative and hard working as well.

I'd love to see her sister in play and more younger Slytherins if anyone needed a nudge for another character :) I'm open to friends, people who think she's a bitch/snob, customers, people to talk fashion with her, gobstones players (she'll be all over those tournament nights)...ANYTHING really!
