Finnigan's OOC

Hullo all,

I am really sorry to do this but I have to face facts. With my work the way it is, I just don't have the time / mental energy / motivation anymore to keep Finnigan's going. I've been putting this off, hoping I'd get into the swing of things at work and be able to devote the time to my modly duties and my characters but I can't see how it could improve, honestly.

I won't be closing the communities, or kicking anyone out. If you want to keep playing on the journals please go ahead, but I sadly won't be joining you or updating the cast list / approving new members.

I've had a wonderful year + with you all - it went far better than I ever thought my first game as mod would. I hope you'll all keep in touch and maybe in January I might be able to rebalance my workload so that I have time to play in someone else's game with a character or two.

Okay, it's been a while and to kick off the October activity period (and hopefully rejuvinate things a little) I thought we'd have a little Friday Fun in the form of an OOC ideas / plot / general chat post.

Mainly, my questions are these:

-Do you have any fun ideas for Halloween?
-Do you have any fun ideas for Christmas?
-What do you / your characters want to happen in 2016?
-Do you have any concerns you'd like to bring to my attention?

I'm thinking of having some kind of Secret Santa / Secret 'acts of kindness' event for the month of December if that sounds good to people. I'd like to get characters involved - even those who wouldn't usually put themselves forward to be kind. Thoughts on how best to do that will be gratefully received.

Hello everyone,

I know I haven't been as active lately as I used to be and to be fair to everyone I think it's time I bow out for now. Work has me so mentally drained that I find myself pulled more to television/netflix or brain dead repetitive games at the moment. I may find myself lurking from time to time just to see if you all are still around and if any of my voices ever find their way back to my head you all will be the first place I turn shall you still be around and my kids still open.

Just a heads up that I'll be going to my parents for the bank holiday. I just wanted to apologize for being behind to you fine people. This week (this month, really) has been full of trials and tribulations, invovling car problems, mum's surgery, and just the other day, the unexpected death of our dog, after which I couldn't do much of anything.

I'll strive to do better, and I'm sorry. I'm hoping this month won't be as busy and stressful.
