Summer's coming to a close in small-town Texas, the town has stopped looking like something out of Who Framed Roger Rabbit, and people are gearing up for the new school year, especially the staff and students at the school run by the X-Men. The thing is, as in many pan-fan games, the Marvel 616 cast at ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif)
displacedmod is pretty mutant-heavy as most Avengers players go for the movie versions, and while Sam Wilson loves his adopted MCU pals he'd also love to see some more people he's got shared history with.
Specifically (but not exclusively!) members of his now-disbanded team: Tony Stark, Vision, Lady Thor*, Nova/Sam Alexander and Miles Morales (we have a bunch of spider-types who know him as well); Kamala is already in play and Sam's ward until she turns 18. Characters he's specifically friends with. Characters he's worked with before or who appeared in his own titles. Characters from the unofficial black heroes group. Etc, you get the drill.
Exceptions: no alternates allowed for Natasha and we already have a few of the 616 versions like both Hawkeyes, Echo, America Chavez and Captain Marvel (and Storm, of the black heroes). Some that we have the MCU counterparts of are alternates negotiable so check the existing journals and contact players. At one point we had three Buckys, so we're often pretty cool with multiples and the related shenanigans. *Lady Thor, because of the cancer storyline being upsetting to a few people, would need to be AU. And you would almost certainly not get approval for any canon point after the end of Civil War II because we do not truck with Secret Empire.
Relatedly I would be totally chill with an MCU Sam Wilson turning up. We have a very AU version who I also play but they don't interact very much and Sam gets mistaken for MCU canon all the time so he's kind of interested to meet this guy.
