nyx_mods is an AU Marvel-verse game set in 1975, and focusing on the various gangs that inhabit Mutant Town, New York: the Brotherhood, a street gang led by X and Magneto, whose purpose is to keep the streets clean of outsiders and those who pose a threat to mutants; the Hellfire Club, who seek to control M-Town via money and political maneuvering; the Sentinels, a police force tasked with containing the growing mutant population within M-Town by whatever means necessary. Then there are the Orphans, a group of runaway and abandoned teenaged mutants taken in by Nathaniel Essex for his own nefarious purposes; the Morlocks, an underground group of inhuman-looking mutants led by Nightcrawler; the Friends of Humanity, a racist skinhead gang who are determined to wipe mutantkind from the earth; and various Independents with goals and motivations of their own. Basically, it's awesome, guys. :)
I, personally, would just about sell my soul to have a T'Challa/Black Panther in the Sentinels. I play Storm and would love to explore a complicated-by-loyalty-and-duty romantic relationship between them: despite being a respectable businesswoman, Storm is affiliated with the Brotherhood, and a Sentinel who was in love with a mutant (and a mutant affiliated with the street gang who are enemies of the police, no less) could have some super plot with his fellow Sentinels and with the rest of the Brotherhood, too. My wanted post is here, but all details can totally be worked out with any interested parties.
