A revolution has recently taken place within society’s attitude towards certain laws and civil rights. This transformation has left many traditionalists scared and fighting but most have been liberated due to the changes and are keen to allow them to continue. Mainly the rights for women and children have altered drastically. The change to female rights is almost immediately noticeable with the change of fashion.
Medical and scientific understanding has improved and the experimentation for artificial limb use and ‘upgrades’ to the physical being are becoming highly fashionable however extremely costly.

Whittlewell is the capital city of the British Empire and is on the cutting edge of the steam revolution. Its advances in air ship travel and compact innovations for steam capability are the envy of the world and have lead to the boon in wealth. However the gap between rich and poor is ever expanding.

The year is 1865 and you are invited to come and join us.

stopgap, has reached it's two month reboot and is going into a new genre on March 1st! By majority vote we're now going to be playing a Maurader Era 1980's theme complete with war related objectives and some great premade details to inspire new characters!

For those who haven't seen us around. Stopgap!Rpg is a Harry Potter based random-play community. Unlike other role-playing games this community is structured to allow for short-term character exploration. Players who are interested in participating volunteer for a slot on the character roster. The moderator's then assign a character (preferably one the player has never played before & one that is wanted to fill open storylines) and players are then responsible for bringing the newly birthed muse to life.

Game play per-genre (trio era, maurauder, future gen) lasts approximately two months. At the end of the two month run we switch to a new cast and game premise. In theory this rpg is structured to allow for creative writing. It also encourages a place where people can try on new muses without fear of being judged. Hi there players! walkingghosts is a brand-spankin' new RPG that's looking for some characters to appear! It's set ten years after the final battle, where Voldemort over-powered Harry and erased his memories, making the Boy-Who-Lived into his pupil. In desperate times, the remaining members of the Order of the Phoenix have set about bringing back their fallen comrades, so they can get Harry back and defeat Voldemort once and for all. Little do they know, Voldemort has similar plans of his own.

We only have a small cast so far, and they are in need of:

James Potter: His wife Lily is already in game, and she would like James to be by her side when they return to Grimmauld place, 27 years in the future.
Weasleys(Molly, Arthur, Bill, Charlie, Percy, GEORGE, Ron, Ginny): Fred is also on his way back to the living, and would love to see his family again when he arrives.
Bellatrix Lestrange: Voldemort is looking forward to having his most loyal Death Eater return to his side for when he conquers the world once and for all.
