Hello my little darlings! Can you believe what the past few years have brought us? Here we are coming up on the fourth anniversary and so much has changed. Or maybe not. Cho is still being left by every boy in sight, Harry's still trying to right wrongs and triumph over evil and Ginny is still chasing after him. Angelina and Oliver are still fighting and making up and fighting and making up...honestly if it didn't help me sell papers, it would make me ill. But let's face it, I like nothing more then seeing Angelina angry and upset. Charlie still looks hot in....everything, George is still trying to be the joke king, and Kingsley is bossing everyone around. And I like it. Pansy, Daphne, Owyn and Marcus are doing what Slytherins do best: making babies cry, seducing everyone and trying to pretend that they aren't evil. But we all know the truth. Of course that's everything that hasn't changed. We have robberies and murder, suspicious characters creeping about in the night, growing annoyance with the current administration, possible Death Eaters in the shadows and a group of pranksters wreaking havoc! And that's just this week, I can't wait to see what happens tomorrow!

Plenty of open characters!* There's something for everyone!

*Characters we would really, really love to have: Theodore Nott, Hermione, Granger, Ron Weasley, Fred Weasley, Bill Weasley, Percy Weasley, Lee Jordan, Lavender Brown, Neville Longbottom, Roger Davies, Terry Boot, Marietta Edgecombe, Susan Bones, Justin Finch-Fletchley, Ernest MacMillan, Blaise Zabini

After having dealt with not only death and despair from the Second Wizarding War, The Daily Prophet also faced a period where it was uncertain as to whether or not there would be a future for the paper. Realizing that the paper needed to be cleared of its bad reputation from the war, Editor-in-Chief Barnabas Cuffe 'let go' of several people that he believed did not live up to his expectations. These spots were quickly filled with newer faces though they didn't have quite the same experience level as Cuffe would have liked.

Cuffe also instated an internship program for those reporters who weren't quite sure on what they wanted to specialize in and thus, would have an opportunity to do so. Slowly but surely, The Daily Prophet regained its once honorable reputation and is currently the highest-grossing newspaper of the Wizarding World.

[info]thedprpg via [info]thedpmods focuses on the lives of those reporters, photographers and workers of The Daily Prophet.

[ RULES | APPLICATION | CHARACTERS & DYSFUNCTIONS | UNHAPPILY EVER...?]

The war ended and all was well. Harry Potter defeated the Dark Lord. Everything was practically perfect in every way.

Unless you were the rest of the wizarding world that is...

Tired of games where everyone is happy and perfect? Where the love songs resonate from the trees and no one ever loses their job? Want a game where you can throw a drink in your cheating husband's face and then find out about your long lost sister, Hannah Abbott? Where maybe things aren't quite as safe as you would have thought and there's some villains waiting in the wings talking in funny accents? Welcome to Unhappily Ever...

Part Harry Potter Game, part English Language Telenovella, Unhappily Ever is set in a Post Deathly Hallows world where all is not well for the average person. Real life has bumps and wrinkles - and sometimes those are much more fun than the fairy tale! Whether you're Always a Bridesmaid and Never a Bride or The Jerk with the Big Mouth and the Small Package, Unhappily Ever tells the story of the characters in the Harry Potter books rebuilding their lives and trying to make sense of the world as they hit their late twenties and early thirties. Set in 2009, Unhappily Ever After is looking for strong writers who want a social game but miss the good old days where threading was commonplace. How do you fit in to the not your average Fairy Tale?
