The Ministry had arranged for the gala to take place at the Wizarding Savoy of London, the sister hotel to London's famous Savoy and located via the entrance on the high end of Whimsic Alley. The Ministry had reserved the entirety of the lower three levels for the event, including the ballroom, connect bar and dining hall. Even the smallest detail was themed around the treatise between the East and West, from the decoration of the gardens to the food and the ballroom. The ballroom is lined with nooks of red couches, settes and tables and closed off with cream curtains.
Dinner is served promptly at seven. Cultural entertainment begins just after dinner at nine, followed by dancing and drinks. Guests are invited to move throughout the gala as they feel most comfortable.

Notes: I apologize that this wasn't up sooner and that it isn't in beautiful third-person past-tense. It's as close as I could get it without my brain shutting down in protest (it's been a long weekend, guys). If I have left anyone out or screwed something up, please let me know and I will attempt to fix it.
Also, there was a party in a local pub afterwards for all the spectators and for the players once they'd been healed. All the players' injuries were healed within a few hours of game finish, though some may have been told to rest (up to you whether they follow Healer's orders).
