Abigail likely went to a party that WADA threw, since she probably didn't have other options that she liked. She would've been amused at a few of the students doing little performances whilst being tipsy.

Also to kick it along a little I feel like saying that one of the staff, the one Abigail mentioned in her first entry, kissed her at midnight. So since then she's kind of been avoiding him, because she doesn't know whether it was 'hey why not?' or something else... and the latter is O__O to her because... dun dun dun... he's a Muggleborn.
