	Tasha was appreciative that several of her friends were there to distract her from her ex. She was especially grateful for Anzelm and his wife who were always to kind to her. She never felt like she could repay them. She was aware of his movements all night to stay away from him. She grabbed another glass of champagne and moved to chat with Anzelm and his wife. Anzelm may not have said it but she could understand what he was saying. She didn't want to ruin their evening. She was thankful she had studied some medication when she was living in India. After doing a few quick breaths she gave a genuine smile, "I will be fine. But thank you for asking. How are you two enjoying your evening out?" She looked at her watch, only fourty-five minutes until midnight. She had been under worse situations.

Natasha had noticed Anzelm's eye move but didn't dare follow him. She had a feeling it would only upset her and she couldn't bring herself to do that. Tonight was to be a joyous one. One of new beginnings. She stayed chatting to her friends for awhile before moving on when eomeome else approached to talk to them. She walked over towards the bar and noticed how many people had slowly started pairing off. She looked at her watch as she waited for her shot of firewhisky and swore to herself. It was only a few minutes until midnight. She found herself looking around the room for the one persons she had been advoiding all night.

	Leon, meanwhile, had clocked Natasha's presence right from the off and was cringing inwardly. Unfortunately for him, he couldn't make an escape, being as recognisable as he was. Natasha was distracted when her drink was set down in front of her. She gave a polite thanks before grabbing the drink. She sighed real quick before clinking her glass with an aquaintence and downing the shot. She enjoyed the burn as it went down her throat. She didn't know why but the strong stuff was always her prefernce. The friend said something to her which caused her to laugh and look over to finally find Leon, wanting to see what he was doing.
