I've gathered up a few lovely lines recently, but would anyone be interested in a mishmashed Doctor Who gpsl, pulling in characters from different eras and coming up with some crazy Doctor-Who-like plot that may be bizarre but at least makes some sort of sense + is ultimately enjoyable? Companions from different Doctors (be it classic!Who or new!Who, be it regular/recurring companions or one-shots like blessed little Sally Sparrow or Craig or Wilfred, etc.) -- even multiple Doctors, if we wanted, because Moffat seems to have softened the whole "THE WORLD WILL END IF YOU CROSS PATHS WITH YOURSELF AHHHH" thing that popped up with Rose. Also DW is timey-wimey and sometimes contradictory, so I feel like you can get a bit handwavey with the details sometimes...
I'm personally toying with the idea of a regenerated Susan (the Doctor's biological granddaughter/his first companion in classic!Who canon) because I feel like it could be fun to explore character dynamics, both with companions and with the Doctor himself, given how closed off the Doctor is about his past. (I know he said that all his family was dead, but he DID leave her on Earth, soooo I feel like it could be a gray area...or just AU, whatevs.) I'd also be up for just a normal psl if there aren't multiple people interested, whether with a Doctor or some other Doctor Who character.
Anyway, gauging interest because I love smashing together various eras in a panfandomish sort of way, but with the vastness of the Whoniverse, I like the fun of having it still contained to just DW instead of being an actual panfandom game. Does this sound appealing to anyone else? It could be just a few people, or we could let it grow larger, depending on how much interest there is.
P.S. I still need to watch Torchwood and the Sarah Jane Adventures, but I figure they could be fair game too, since it's just different aspects of the same world.
P.P.S. I'd personally love Rose, River, Jack, Martha, and the Ponds if anyone is wanting specific suggestions, but yeah, DW is full of so many fantastic characters that you really can't go wrong.
