Hey guys,
I hate to do this and would have done more personal announcements, but since there are so few of us now, I figured I might as well just announce it in the OOC. After long consideration, I’ve decided to leave Emillion.
This has been one of the most rewarding writing experiences I’ve ever had—I’ve loved all of the dynamics you’ve given me, and plots + characters + players I’ve been involved with. In all my days of RP, I never thought I’d be capable of 52 logs in a single month; you guys have really helped me fall back in love with prose and sheer writing and realise the strengths of a logging-driven game, which I can’t thank you for enough. I really meant to stick it out with y’all, but after 1 year and 3 months, it’s just time for me to call it quits and move on. There’s only one other game I’ve been with longer than this, so trust, this game will occupy a cherished part of my memory.

fjords, and am just an email or gchat away if you wanna reach me. I’m sure we’ll cross paths again eventually, since rplandia is a small place. ♥ I’m sorry if this comes as a shock to any of you; it’s been a long time coming, however, and I’ve tried to make myself more invested/involved but it hasn’t worked. So rather than doing you a disservice by barely hanging on, I’m just ripping off the band-aid while I can.

As far as my characters and their absences are concerned:
BRAM THORNTON: Quits the council and leaves Emillion with his wife to piece themselves back together, and put some distance between themselves and the city that robbed them of so much.
OFELIA ZHOU: Finishes recruiting Cian to the Ninth Bureau, then closes up the office and leaves Emillion to chase news of her mother.
MILES BAINES: On August 24th (the day after Reinholdt’s ball), he embarks on heisting the Royal Bank of Ivalice with a group of NPC thieves that he’s worked with before. It doesn’t go so well. He’s caught by the Knights of the Peace, held in custody for a couple days, then sentenced by Evander Finch to 15 years in the king’s island prison. Yep. Doneskies. Miles’ pals, feel free to react to this; I’ll post some last things on the 24th and 26th to officially wrap things up.
RICTOR CASSUL: Reconciles with Aspel, then leaves Emillion to have some more Adventures™, per his usual.
WILHAM WOLFE: Stays behind as an eyepatched NPC and works closely with the Black Lions once more.
