Emillion Out Of Character

Hey gang! Activity Check (AC) is due by the 31st! ( Oh look! It's a cut! ) REMINDER 1!: Even if you have posted a previous hiatus notice this month, please post here to be accounted for. If you have not yet posted a hiatus notice before today, but feel that you may need to do so for this month, for the sake of keeping informed with players PLEASE EMAIL THE MODS BY 3/30. ♥ REMINDER 2!: Please remember that all qualifying AC must occur on an event within the month that the AC is due for, or on a stand alone thread that was posted within the month/is backdated no longer than one month to the previous month. You can backdate AC qualifying stand alone threads back as far as Feb 1st as of this month. This is to assist in assuring a character’s presence within the month that we are checking for AC for.

FRIENDS, EMILLIONITES, COUNTRYMEN, LEND ME YOUR EYEBALLS. this is rian with my aforementioned second (and for now, last!!) character, yuuko hara! just a quick overview:

• second generation emillionite (her family is from edo, basically tokyo/kyoto in ordalia) born and raised in the tenements—she left briefly while she was a full time monk with the FG because the money was good enough for her to get a nice apartment for her and her mother in the commoner's district, but she's since had to move back because—
  
• her mother became very ill when yuuko was 23, prompting her to leave the guild to take care of her and work full time. yuuko works 3 jobs to help pay for her mother's treatments and care. right now: morning glory cafe, the roast's grande cathedral location, and ivory as line cook. she's worked a bunch of places the last three years, though, so your characters will likely have seen her around!
  
• bff with sayuri/basaka and bel/sneek. she acts like their big sister and/or mom, tbh.
  
• aspiring chef, and she is really, really good at it. her dream before her mom got ill was to save up and open a restaurant in the bazaar by the time she was 30, but lol.
  
• she's super nice and friendly, can be kind of a busybody, but don't mistake her kindness for being a doormat. she has no time for people who are purposefully lazy and no interest in bending over backwards for people she doesn't already know and trust. THAT BEING SAID, it's pretty easy to get to know her because she talks to everyone.

things i would like!

• friends from the guild! yuuko was there from 12 to 23, and she still swings by to talk to sayuri and get in some basic conditioning training, though she's not looking to join back up right now.
  
• friends from work! yuuko is That Waitress who knows everyone by name, asks after your family, brings you your favorite drink without asking, etc. she doesn't tell people she works at ivory so much because they just end up thinking she's a host and not a cook, but customers from there would probably know her. her miso-glazed salmon is damn good.
  
• tenement friends! poor people friends! yuuko's neighborhood in the tenements is very tight knit with everyone in each other's business and helping out where they can—if you live near her, she has known you and fed you before.
