Emillion Out Of Character

Hello~ good lord 2am this is Tea with her third character: Esther! Her full name is Meredith Esther Glass, but she prefers going by Esther (feel free to call her Meredith if your character is so inclined).

ESTHER GLASS; WHITE MAGE

→ BACKGROUND; Ordalian background from several generations ago, so she's Emillion native by now. Her family is not considered to be old nobility but they have plenty of money to make up for that. She's the only daughter and her parents are incredibly protective of her, especially since this one time she got caught up in Onyx Guard business. She survived it thanks to Aspel.

She's studying to be a White Mage but mostly she gets horribly nervous and then can't cast. Had several suitors until she was engaged two years ago. Esther is quite happy to follow conventions, you will not find her trying to rebel or go against traditions.

As a person Esther is very chatty, happy and interested in what other people have to say. Unfortunately she is still very immature, mischievous, inexperienced and sheltered — so not always the most empathetic of people. On the plus side, she is also incredibly loyal and takes any promise or oath seriously.

hellloooo!! i'm shay/~oolong and i was here in the fall for a hot second with a different character (drys, who i'm also planning on bringing back revamped) until school ate me alive. now i have lots of free time so i've returned with bel song — short for belgaer (his given name is actually eun-soo but no one calls him that), but it's always bel. bullet points for your pleasure:

• 24 y/o, thieves' guild, ninja class. he's been a ninja since 21 and was a thief before that!
• grew up in emillion; his family immigrated several generations ago, and are the proprietors of Song's Metals, a shop in the bazaar district where they sell custom jewelry, accessories, and (sometimes) weapons in the old ordalian styles. they used to have a lot of shops but in the past 2 decades they've dwindled down to just the one, but it's still pretty well-known.
• bel is very nice, polite, and cheerful. he's also very calm and it takes a good bit to rustle his jimmies. he's kind of an oblivious puppy, but less yappy. he's the youngest of seven sons and pretty sheltered, girls make him googly-eyed and flustered, and he thinks with his stomach 99% of the time.
• grew up in a big, loving family (those six older brothers, plus their wives and children) not to mention his aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents. family is bel's #1 priority which is why it's hard for him to balance hiding the guild from them with his participation in guild activities, so to speak. he's an apprentice in his parents' shop and has to do a lot of juggling.
• as suits a ninja, bel is very flexible and acrobatic, on top of his stealth training. he climbs all over everything and likes to jump from building to building. his joy in the TG comes from the fun of it and not much else. basically he has no idea that he's maybe in a little over his head with them.
• plot ideas: friends, obviously. people who know him from the shop, where he works the counter most days! people who know his brothers (one's a geology professor at the university, one's an EKP knight, one's a monk). idk, i'm up for anything! also, FG people will know him for being basaka's childhood friend & bonafide shadow.
