Perdita Arkady, Mage Scholar

THE STORY SO FAR: Perdita is eighteen-years-old, and a native of Ordalia (Anjou/Saint-Quen area, to be more specific). She is currently in her second year of mage scholarship, which makes her kind of old for a scholar. She had to enter late for family reasons, okay? DON'T JUDGE. What she lacks in experience, however, Perdita makes up for in enthusiasm and drive. She loves books, magic, and crashing classes at St. Iocus--basically, Perdita Arkady is a medievalpunk Hermione Granger. Perdita, however, has one very big secret: her name isn't actually Perdita Arkady, it's Metis Laertes. Perdita ran away from home two years ago to escape a betrothal her parents were insistent she enter, among other things, and hasn't been back to Anjou since.
MEANWHILE, BACK IN THE TOWER: Perdita has been flitting in between the Mage Tower library and white mage clinics since the plague started in the city, determined to find some way to be helpful despite her lack of magic. She probably tried to volunteer for the cure mission, but idk if she would have been allowed--Dee can only cast Fire right now, after all.
PLOT?: Perdita needs some more mage buddies/buddies in general! Mentors! People who can switch her enthusiasm into hot-headedness and get into long, arguing comment threads with! Someone to discover that her identity is fake (y hallo thar, Ms. Zhou…)
EXTRA?: Um, she has a pet kitten? His name is Tybal.
