It's been fun, gang, but I've come to the realization that RPing just isn't for me. It catches my interest for a few months, then I want to hop out of it and do something else... and even if the culture on InsaneJournal is that much different from Dreamwidth, taking a six month-long hiatus in this hobby for no apparent reason is understandably frowned upon.
You were all wonderful, each and every one of you. I'm sorry if writing around Stone's departure is something of a burden on any one of you, but I figured that it'd be better to make an actual goodbye thing instead of just being like "BYE BITCHES!"
Actually, that's a huge big lie; I wanted to just kind of fade away and let AC slay the Stone Dragon, but thanks entirely to Maaya's input, I decided to make it grander and leave some closure for her and those she's made friends with.
I'd like to think that someday, years from now, Rosestein comes back to Emillion, and shows what a badass, confident woman she has become. But that'd be up to you and the mods if it could be mentioned offhandedly sometime. She's grown so much from being a small character who told me to lick a payphone's money slot in a feverish dream--a dream that even now, I can recall the fragments of.
I'd like to thank Quest and Jay, our mods, and Quest once more for even bringing Emi up to me in the first place and helping me begin to actualize Rosestein. Everyone who's had an interaction with Stone, negative or positive, I'd just like to say thank you for writing with me, and sorry she was a huge bitch at first! To those I planned things with but it never panned out, I'm sorry. I realize now what that was: me trying desperately to save my interest from fading, but it couldn't be saved, it's apparent now.
Lastly, I have some parting gifts.

Hello friends! This is Rae here with her fourth character: Lionel Baines, a 30 year old blue mage. Does that surname sound familiar to you? That's because he's the younger brother of one Miles Baines (![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif)

Lionel was raised in a Pharist orphanage and, unlike his older brother, really took to the nuns' teachings. He is a devout Pharist and former white mage who worked for the various church-affiliated orphanages in the city. He eventually became restless for Adventure™ and began studying to become a blue mage, which he managed to do at 22. After that, he joined up with a group called The Disciples -- a Pharist band of travelers that does missions/jobs for the poor & disenfranchised at no cost -- and traveled the world. He is only just now returning to the city! He's made brief appearances over the past few years but never stayed for long. But hey, now he's back for good! :)
