You know, Edward, you really shouldn't invoke a devil, lest she appear.
Aya returned from Amestris, and, after a brief stop at the temple to grab some forms from them on an unrelated matter, headed over towards the office. As she approached, she could hear singing from inside the office. One voice she picked out immediately, and the other was unfamiliar. A woman's voice. But, more importantly, why in the world was the chief singing?
She knocks on the door. |

| Tricking a certain Elric into what he's been avoiding |

((:P I had this idea first, so there. I even talked to Caity about it. BEFORE the other thread. So there.))
Trisha was excited for this talent contest of the temple's. Oh, they were friendly sorts, bringing all sorts of excitement with them! First a fabulous feast, and now a talent show!
She decided right away she wanted to sing, and specifically, she wanted a duet with her son, the landlord. But how to convince him to sing? He had the voice for it, certainly, inherited it from her. She couldn't get her own boy to sacrifice his teenaged dignity to do it, but the landlord might cave.
She decided to have Al help her. Between his mother and his brother, that man didn't stand a chance.
She baked up an apple cake and chocolate chip cookies to butter the boys up- their favorites- and headed downstairs, knocking on the door to the landlord's apartment. |

There's a flyer on every occupied apartment door, and the collective's house, one afternoon. It reads simply, " Attention all residents! Are you athletic? Do you have a creative side? Or perhaps you have some other hidden talent that you're dying to show off? Myouren Temple is proud to host for the first time ever, a HUGE talent show for all residents and their guests! Come and amaze others, or be amazed yourself! Prizes will be given for Best of Show, and several other catagories as needed! After the show, there will be a large banquet as well, to satisfy your worked up appetite from the competition! Sign up and do your best! " |

By now, Al has gotten himself and his brother sufficiently settled in and had let the idea percolate long enough that he decided to go visit his mother.
After he let his brother know where he was going and leaving him curled up in his usual spot by the window, Al went down to Trisha's floor.
After a moment to steel his nerves a bit so he wouldn't lose said nerve and go back upstairs, he knocked on the door and waited. |

| Apple Trees Are Yay. |

It's a few days into the LOL and by now, the Collective have decided they can trust Ed to behave and not get into too much trouble without supervision. So after extracting a promise from him that he wouldn't leave the grounds, they let him go outside to play without adult supervision although with Maes along to keep a watchful eye out.
Which is why he's climbed an apple tree and is considering if he wants to try eating one to see if it still tastes good even though they're still only about half-grown and aren't even close to changing color. |

Ed leads his now-younger alternate over to the house, juggling bags for a moment to pull out the key and unlock the door and open it. "Hey, could use a little help with the load!" he calls into the house as he steps inside. "C'mon inside, Ed. I just gotta take care of this, then I can explain things more, okay?" |

Shou knocked on the office door, looking a bit upset. Mokou had reported to her what happened at the sign, and this put Shou on edge. Though she was more then capable of dealing with the situation by herself, this is an Elric issue as much as it is security, so she wanted his input on the matter. "Edward? It's Shou." |

Aya smiles. It's time to put into action the last bit of trolling against the collective. She waits patiently for her chance, when the homunculus is out of the house, to strike. She walks up to the door and knocks, waiting politely on the doorstep with her journal in hand. |

Shou had been talking to the gate for a long time, and decided she was going to play santa claus. She knew that Christmas was on the twenty fifth, she just didn't know what month. So she decided just to wing it and give presents anyway. And she had certainly spared no expense in doing so. The first person on her list was of course, the Landlord, because he just loves being bothered.
So, using her new powers, she sticks her head out of the ceiling above him, and looks down, grinning. |

After everyone's finished eating, the Als left to go talk outside and leave their brothers alone for their own conversation.
Ed stays put in his seat at the table, unsure if he should stay or if he could move to his usual seat by the window. |

No way is Edward ever going to admit that he sicced that crow on the Collective family, but he still feels bad about Derpy's disappearance. Fortunately, Edward had squirreled away the name of the pony Aya took of with and went home to his nieces and enlisted their help in finding him a picture of this Derpy pony.
The next day, Edward wraps up the completed, newly-made Derpy Hooves pony and heads over to the house. He knocks on the door. "Sarah, you home?" he calls, hiding the wrapped package behind his back. |

Mokou waited a long time before finally going to visit the landlord after the feast. She was a common sight on the benches of the apartments, but spoke little. Finally, after a week or two, she got up, and knocked on his door. "Yo, anyone home?" |

Iktomi's looking for a good space to indulge in his favorite trick- Phantom Spiderwebs. You know, the large invisible kind that everyone walks into in the middle of nowhere, especially where there shouldn't be spiderwebs?
Anyway, he notices something large and odd from the spirit plane, even for the Nexus.
Myouren Temple, to be exact. Although he doesn't know what it is yet.
Perfect!
He shifts into a small spider, drops off the spirit plane, and spins a web across the gate, shifts back to his normal form, then runs into some bushes and waits for the show. |

After speaking with his alternate, and after a trip to the Sin, Al returned home, and the next morning, over breakfast, he brought up his idea for the day's plans.
"How do you feel about a trip to the Nexus today?" he asked his brother, sipping a cup of coffee. |

The Winry and Pinako of this group's Amestris has declared Ed fit to move away from being under their care, albeit with a warning to check in with the Winry there and let her know his current status.
Alfons has sent Ed to the landlord's office to sign the lease and is currently carrying part of his first load to the apartment along with Al.
So. Who feels like checking out the new people? |

A small crow lands on the windowsill of the collective's house, and gives a very loud caw. And does this repeatedly. Aya's been given her mission, and nothing's going to stop her. Have fun guys. |

Now that Shou was up and healed, Momiji's time as a security guard was at it's end. Something kept tugging at her though, and it bothered her, even as she said her goodbyes. It wasn't but a few minutes after she left that someone, or at least something came back through.
Minutes later, a certain landlord might hear an annoying cawing at the window to his office. |
