You mentioned your pack. That night.

[...] You haven't bothered me. What's different?

They aren't a pack of blood. You chose them. It is not chance or obligation such as family might be. I don't know which is worse to be removed from. But it is different.

Ah. [...] I didn't choose them. They are family, though we're not connected by blood. It's simply [...] complicated.

Complicated sounds to be the right word, yes. My pack doesn't want I don't have anyone There is just you and Dr. Fischer What's the point

[...] Do you think that some are unfit to be in a pack?

Yours is the same?

[...] I believe that if one intentionally causes harm to their pack, then they don't deserve to be part of it. But there are times when I feel unfit simply because I don't know how to belong, or because my presence might not be what's needed.

No. Mine is blood. It is different.

It wasn't intentional. Never that.

Blood can still be complicated. Regardless, any pack shares a bond not so easily broken. You might not be as removed from it as you think you are.

[...] Everyone causes harm unintentionally, at one point or another.

I have done enough to earn a breaking. Unintentional, but too much. I have been told.

The pack. The one I am no longer a part of.

Sometimes people do things that they come to regret later. If you're bound by blood, there is hope for forgiveness.

I know regret, yes. And it seems very unlikely that I am to ever be forgiven. I find it difficult to believe that there is a bridge between wishing someone completely wiped from existence and forgiveness.

Difficult, but not impossible. [...] Do you have anyone else, aside from your pack?
