MK overdosed. Will live. Long term damage unknown. Hope to talk her into rehab once she feels better. Already discussed it. Should work this time. Want to know if you'd visit her?

Love is always a fight. It might look easy from the outside, but it never is. Ask Luke. He screams and curses and loses his temper. I drive him insane. We both get to the point where we aren't talking and want to scream. But we fix it. We work at it every day. We used to be really terrible at talking. We wouldn't do it, and it would be like a wound that festered and just got worse and worse and worse, until it got so bad that I left and ruined both of our lives for years. Now, we make ourselves talk, even when we don't want to. We fight it out. He's better at pushing for that than me. But it isn't easy, Adam. It's messy, but it's worth it.

I know you love MK.

	Will try. Don't understand how that much fighting is worth it. Need companionship? Need to belong to someone? Is it only loneliness? All not good reasons to be in a relationship. It's not about needing companionship, or about belonging, or even about loneliness. It's about making each other better, I think. At least for us. We're better together than we are apart. And it's a lot of work, but being apart isn't really living, not for me. And I know that's not healthy, before you say so.

	It won't, because Luke isn't going anywhere, and neither am I. We learned that lesson already. You and MK just aren't there yet. But I've watched you both fight and misunderstand each other for a year now, and however bad it is when you're together, it's so much worse when you're apart. She'll get help, and the hurt will stop.
