Honestly, are the lot of you in Las Vegas so weak? I'm 2 for 0, and I desperately hope that this one lasts more than six months.

Note to everyone through the door. Chances are if you end up getting your Vegas counterpart killed, you'll come back in someone even better if you're patient.

That aside, I must say I'm rather amused by the goings-on in Gotham as of late. I'm going to assume that all of you failed to get your flu shots this year, didn't you? You deserve what you're getting. Thin the herd, so to speak.

Did you know there are three plagues? The septicemic plague is an infection in the blood and fatal in all cases. Pneumonic plague is an infection of the lungs and fatal without treatment. The bubonic plague is simply an infection of the lymph nodes. When the lymph nodes swell until they are visible, they are known as buboes. You may get those.

The reason you are in pain is because your insides are currently being torn apart. Your immune system, the immune system of a relatively healthy adult female, is doing what it is supposed to do and attempting to combat that. It will fail. If you have buboes, they will fade. Your joints will ache and it will become hard to breathe. You may have headaches, seizures, dizziness and become agitated. Some people develop spots, known as petechiae. Have you ever wanted to be a spotted cat?

There are some other, equally interesting skin reactions. You may start bleeding from injection sites and your mucous membranes.

And then your body will start to fail you. Your organs will systematically shut down in order to preserve whatever life within you that they can. You'll have blood clots in all the wrong places as your body goes haywire. Clotting agents will flock to these sites and in other places you will bleed freely. You will be unable to maintain your blood pressure and then, as your organs stop and your own toxins begin to fill your body, you will die.
