Rather than wax poetic about my personal life or engage in mindless small talk in a journal which, by proper logic and sense, should not be capable of allowing mass communication, a question that can only be answered by those of you in a similar circumstance: do you all feel some sort of other presence, or separate voice? Conversely, has anyone felt or heard nothing, and would believe themselves unaffected save for the existence of a journal and key?

	It is unlikely. I will ask another question instead. I begin work today and there was an 'Ian Vasey' listed on the detective roster I received last evening. That someone is attempting to harm her. She has an unregistered weapon that I have asked her to bring me, as she does not know where it came from, and it might have been used in the commission of a crime. I have also informed her that she should not have a firearm in her possession unless she is taught to properly fire it, which I was willing to do, but if you are here it might be a lesson best taught by family.
