Please tell me that isn't a direct quote. Please tell me that was all in subtext, because if that is a direct quote I will legitimately wish for her to stub her toe QUITE harshly the next time she opens a really heavy door.

She seriously thinks that? It's nice to be so well thought of.

Why are we bothering again? Is there some moment where we just let go and let the chips fall where they may and then feel guilty when our kid sister and her child end up miserable and possibly dead?

	No there is no point in going there. But in the meantime, we do have to try and manage this issue from a sensible point of view. How is Sam? I haven't even asked, I'm sorry, that's completely insensitive of me. [number] I'll do what I can to keep an eye on him. But I'm also trying to give him some space.
