	One of Sam's, the local golden child. She beat some poor girl up in the hallway, and I heard the screaming and stepped out to see what was going on. I called the cops on her and let them deal with it. Her friend, Lin, didn't like the fact that I called the cops and Sam got arrested for assault. So he visited. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Neither would I, kid. I was a foster brat, didn't know normal when it came regular on Thursdays. That doesn't make a difference. Family doesn't make us what we are. It helps.

I thought being strong was enough. When I left the group, I did it on my own, and I thought that was important. Being strong, doing things on my own, being independent. But it's not. It's lonely. And I'm looking around at all these people who don't hesitate to jump to someone's defense, and I don't have that.

Lin told me I'd die alone. I'm wondering if he's right.
