I don't want to adjust. Everything about this place is wrong. I thought our lives had crappy periods, but at least they generally made sense. And there were a few things I could count on, like us being a team. I can't be Bruce, I can't get everyone to focus and be who we're supposed to be. Dick might be able to, but he doesn't seem interested in anything. We're fractured, Steph, we're broken. And I have no idea how to fix that.

	Yeah, we're broken, and guess what? It's been almost two years, and nothing's changed. We aren't leaving this Gotham, so you've just got to make it your own. You know why? Because this Batman didn't start off as our Batman. Because we all come from different times. Because Jason died again, because Dick died and they both got thrown in the Pit. Because Damian skipped ten years and is still playing catch-up. Because I fell in love with a villain and no one's going to forgive that. [...] This is a different Gotham.
