Battle of the Bands at Club Kidnap
Who: Fuyuki and Open
What: Chilling out and watching different groups play in a battle of the bands
Where: Club Kidnap
When: Random Friday night
Why: Its summer and it's fun

Fuyuki stood near the bar at Kidnap downing his third beer and checking out the people that came and went. Most of them were seniors, a lot were from the drama club, some were college students that heard from word of mouth. The whole thing seemed to be a pretty good success. He was glad that the owner had taken the idea of his and actually run with it. Mixing drinks with live music, and enough bodies to be classified as a Bacchanalia for the senses seemed to be a fun thing. The sounds of music throbbed a hard low bass beat over the speakers and couples, trying to show how mature they were, wer grinding on the dance floor to the hits that the second band was playing.

Fuyuki tipped back his head and laughed. Now this was what he had been missing dating that prep. Fun times, though she was the one that had gotten him into this scene. He bobbed his head to the music as he tapped his fingers against the top of the bar and looked out at the people that were hanging around. Waving at some he got up to prowl around the club and see if there was anyone to talk to.

On one hand, Kanaye did not feel much better, even after a while. He had tried not to think about Maeko, about how much he loved her. He failed. Kanaye knew he couldn't get her out of his head until they made up again, even if it took him years. He would do it. He had to do it...

On the other hand, drinking is a great way to forget your problems. And if there was one thing parties were good for, it's alcohol. FREE alcohol, considering he managed to convince some guy he didn't know to pay for his drinks. Kanaye chuckled. He was drunk off his ass and he probably couldn't connect Maeko with disappointment or love at all.

It was time to party.

	"Yo Kanaye! What's up," Fuyuki shouted coming over to him. He wasn't as drunk as Kanaye, tippsy was more like it, buzzed, or whatever the code word was for that day. "Fuki!" Kanaye couldn't remember Fuyuki's name. He went with what sounded close enough in his head. Pleased, he smiled. "Everything's up! The sky, the ground, the...other sky!" Kanaye raised his glass. "This magic elixer makes everything up! Up up up!" Kanaye chugged his glass. Or he would if there was anything in it.

Undaunted, Kanaye focused on Fuyuki. "I have been hiding in my dorm room. I'm freaking my roommate out, and HE is a hikkkomori!" Kanaye laughed. "I find this quite an achievement! I'm proud of myself!" Kanaye beamed.

"Hey man don't go too over board. You don't need to puke in front of the ladies, right?" Fuyuki teased him a bit and nodded, "Yeah, you up for a refill?"

This rather suprised Fuyuki, Kanaye didn't seem like the sort to be stuck in a dorm room and he took a gulp of his beer, "Now THAT is something. What the hell man? You trying to work on method acting or something?" He grinned, "Seriously though, it's summmer, why in the world would you hold up in your dorm room?"

Kanaye laughed heartily. "HA! Since when have I done anything I needed to do! EXACTLY MY POINT! I'm a rebel! I don't do anything that makes sense!" Before Kanaye could ponder the ramifications of this statement, Fuyuki continued to talk. More beer?

YAY!

"Yes! I am up for many refills! As many refills as possible, and then some more!" Kanaye started laughing again. He was proud of his laugh. He had worked on it.

"I don't know myself!" Kanaye shouted as he shrugged. "I got depressed all of some shit. But hey, beer! Beer makes everything better!"

"Yeah I know what you mean. YOU? A rebel? Sorry Kanaye, but I really can't see it. I mean you got the whole Movie star thing going, but you don't have the whole bad boy image. That I give props to that insane freshman, what's his name...Shirai...I think? Sorry but you're more the sort that screams,'I'm hot so yeah love me' pretty boy that gets the girl." Fuyuki laughed, normally he would be appalled at even talking about such shit as mainstream teenage movies, but when in Rome, let yourself sound as dumb as you want to. "Sense is for the weak and oppressed, we are neither!"

He got him some expensive beer and gave him a glass, "Kampai!"

Fuyuki took a hard chug and grinned, "Oh depressed? Phft, was it a woman?"

	Kanaye twitched at the mention of "that gets the girl" but keeps smiling. "Nah, Reizo-san's not really a rebel. More like a punk. I mean, they're similar, but.." He shrugged.
