Battle of the Bands at Club Kidnap
Who: Fuyuki and Open
What: Chilling out and watching different groups play in a battle of the bands
Where: Club Kidnap
When: Random Friday night
Why: Its summer and it's fun

Fuyuki stood near the bar at Kidnap downing his third beer and checking out the people that came and went. Most of them were seniors, a lot were from the drama club, some were college students that heard from word of mouth. The whole thing seemed to be a pretty good success. He was glad that the owner had taken the idea of his and actually run with it. Mixing drinks with live music, and enough bodies to be classified as a Bacchanalia for the senses seemed to be a fun thing. The sounds of music throbbed a hard low bass beat over the speakers and couples, trying to show how mature they were, wer grinding on the dance floor to the hits that the second band was playing.

Fuyuki tipped back his head and laughed. Now this was what he had been missing dating that prep. Fun times, though she was the one that had gotten him into this scene. He bobbed his head to the music as he tapped his fingers against the top of the bar and looked out at the people that were hanging around. Waving at some he got up to prowl around the club and see if there was anyone to talk to.

"Oh, she is." Lanaye couldn't THINK of anything, but she probably was. Right?

"Renju-san?" Kanaye cocked his head to the side. "Really? Odd. Didn't know she'd hang out with someone so religious." Kanaye nodded. "Blackmail. Most likely." He sighed. "I don't know but Maeko-san is rather scared of it..."

"I can handle my own problems." Kanaye said, getting his sixth drink for the night and chugging it down. "She can too."

"Oh? Really." He smirked.

"Well Hopefully I'll see her around some time." Fuyuki smiled some and took a drink then sighed. "What does she look like anyway?"

"Blackmail? You think? But of what?" He looked perpelexed by it. Then slowly nodded, "I guess that's a possiblity. Retsu's got a lot on a lot of people. And Yeah," he took a hand full of nuts and tossed them one at a time in his mouth, "I think they were doing some studying when I saw them. Looked really chummy to me. Kind of cute in a way, sort of Sisterly thing."

"Pffff, yeah, I'm sure you can, but that doesn't mean everyone can." Fuyuki nodded.

"Yup, because she would be the type to leave you with nothing left but a bottle of beer and a moth eaten wallet. Dad had to cut off her credit card. She burns through money like a wild fire through a dry forest. It's not a pretty sight."

	"Glasses. Pigtails. I imagine they get used as handlebars a lot." He laughed at his joke. "Hell if I know." He shrugged. "...That's...odd. Maybe good? This comment had Fuyuki going two ways, his nice mind was thinking, 'Well maybe friends play around with them and tease her,' his dirty mind was going into a place where he really didn't want to go. So rather then get into any trouble he just laughed and asked, "Handlebars? Really now, and why would they be used a lot for that?"

"You don't like her best friend, you don't like Sonozaki-sempai. Do you like anyone around her at all?" Fuyuki teased as he drank a bit more.

"Problems aren't always easy fixes Kanaye. Sometimes you need more then one persons prospective to get it right. Like with rigging. Can't put that up by yourself you know."

"Um...mid height, nothing too tall, long hair, likes to wear baggy sweaters with her uniform. Makes her look cute. She goes to that all girls school on the west side of town. Black hair, brown eyes. Just really adorable." Fuyuki laughed.

Kanaye shrugged. "I doubt it. I'm nice about it, for one. It makes her look cute, in my opinion!" He laughed. "Well, you need something to hold on too and if they're right there..."

"In my defense, I have reasonable reasons to dislike those too. I'm fine with..." He paused. "She doesn't really have any other friends, actually."

"Yeah but you still have to change yourself."

"Uninterested." He laughed.

"And why would you need something to hold onto? Unless you already have tried," Fuyuki teased him and took a drink. "Girls with pigtails are cute! I like braids."

"That is a problem." Fuyuki said seriously. "like that kid that's building the club house."

"True, but you can't always rely solely on yourself though. Sometimes you need another person...." Fuyuki paused and sipped.

"Not into the cutie types? Trust me she does that all for show, at home she's a she devil. God...can't tell you the number of black eyes I got from a well aimed hairbrush to the face."

"Eh, this boy, a first year. I don't know his name, but he's got this sister that's thin and long, and apparently can't attend school?" Fuyuki let out a breath, "Wish I could help him. Seems like a good kid. If a bit odd."

"What extent do you mean?"

"Heh, first loves are always fun....then they come back and fuck you over," he finished off the beer and ordered some water.

"True, but if you rely on them to little you're just asking for yourself to get smashed," He said drinking some water and nearly choked.

"...If it is who I think it is," Kanaye sighed, "then that's Seiji. His sister is a snake."

"I AM smashed!" Kanaye said proudly, missing the point. Again.

"Why wouldn't I?" He asked, confused as he took another drink. "I mean, she was my girlfriend. I mean, it's not the whole part of the relationship, but it would be nice. And I bet she's aggressive in bed. I like that in a woman."

"A snake for a sister? How...why?" He looked perterbed. Not that he minded snakes, they weren't his favorite animal, but that Seiji had such limited interaction that he saw a snake as a sibling. "What kind of life has this kid been living. Where are his parents anywya? He's building a club house in a park and saying that he can't afford rent."

Fuyuki patted him on the back "Sure you are, don't fall on your ass okay?"

"I mean, well, she just doesn't seem the sort to really...you know, have fun doing things like that. She'd probably just lay there," he shrugged and drank.
