Why: Because of presents and alcohol.

True to her word, Kozue had established herself in the VIP area of Bar Kidnap—still pretending to be blissfully unaware of the frightening or ominous implications of the name. She hadn't gone to much (or any) trouble to prove that this was a birthday party, however; she was dressed up, in an outfit a bit scantier than her normal going-out attire. She was sporting a green, sequin-covered minidress and a pair of heels of a ridiculous height. And her hair was even more carefully arranged than normal.

The VIP area was situated on a balcony, overlooking the rest of the club; from there, Kozue was engaged in chatting amicably with one of the older girls from the tennis club, but her attention kept drifting to the entrance downstairs. More people should show up. There weren't nearly enough for the party to be genuinely successful. So, every few moments, she cast a nervous glance downstairs.

The club itself wasn't all that packed; it was a weeknight, after all, and if any of the actual grown-up patrons noticed the steady stream of highschoolers, they weren't making a fuss. And the bouncers had either been bribed very efficiently, or were under instructions not to care, either.

	"I—wha?!" Kozue flushed a very bright pink and nearly tumbled off of her barstool at that one. "Wh-wh-wait, wha," she continued, a complete jumble of syllables instead of an actual answer. Rather conveniently ignoring the fact that she'd just admitted that she'd sleep with him, Kozue just kept on blushing. "I - um - y'know you can't hold a girl to the promises she makes when she's had at least three whiskeys. Three?" A pause to count them out on her fingers. "But. More than three! It's possible. "But since I'm not sober then sure why the hell not."

She raised her voice and hollered down at the bartender in a very bold move—at least for her. "Hey! I want another drink! It's my birthday and I'm making dubious decisions, so make it something awesome, okay?"

	Kanaye laughed again. "So do I!" he hollered behind her, smirking all the while. He leaned backwards in his chair and nearly fell. "Well then, I'll just have to get you drunk when it's time, right? 	The drinks arrived. Kanaye took it, smiled at the bartender, and started partaking in his second-favorite past time. Getting completely and utterly smashed. Kozue investigated her drink, and decided she was pleased at what she'd gotten. It was colors. Lots of interesting colors. She shook her head, though, when the bartender looked to her, after Kanaye's request for more; "In a minute. This is tasty, though. It tastes like fruit." She grinned.

Well, fruit and liquor. Lots of liquor. "I like it," she declared, and took an illustrative sip.
