Who: Misaki and Open
When: Day after Tanabata
Where: School ground in the morning
What: Just being her normal lovable self
Why:Things are getting back to normal.

Klip klop, klip clop the sound of racing feet across the main campus road startled some girls as they headed for the first hour of classes. Misaki ran past them waving cheerfully, practically glowing with delight. She nearly skipped as she called out to them. "Good morning to you two!"

Hurrying down the lane she waved at people as they called out to her. It was actually nice to see her more refreshed and full of energy again. The gloomy Misaki had put a damper on some of the students tempers, and stomachs seeing as she gave out snacks when she ran into them. But today Misaki seemed normal again, and that was a plus.

She rushed up to the yard by the High school and crept up behind Kozue, throwing her arms around the smaller girl and giggling gleefully, "Good morning Kozue-chan! I'm glad to see you! Do you need me to carry those books for you? They look kinda heavy. Oh and did you remember to bring lunch, if you didn't you can have mine!"

Despite what she said, Misaki was definitely acting strange. Sure, even normally she had an... overly bright and naive view of the world, coupled with an extremely happy disposition, but...

Regardless, something felt really off about Misaki's behavior, and Masami was absolutely certain that feeling wasn't just coming from her own being unused to randomly being hugged.

"Umm... anyway, Aoi-san," Masami started as she tried to shake the younger girl off, "...Umm, I heard you went around the festival with Ito-san yesterday... how was that?" Anything to change the subject and stop Misaki from clinging to her...

"Mmmmhummm, yup. We went to watch fire works and looked at the stalls, and played some of the games. Did you have fun too Masami-chan?" Misaki asked still clinging to the older girl.

"I enjoyed myself," Masami said calmly, though Misaki's... clingy behavior was really getting to her. "Now, I should probably get going to class. I don't want to be late, it would be bad to get suspended just before the upcoming tournament. If you'll excuse me, Aoi-san. We can talk later."

With that, Masami quickly wriggled her way out of Misaki's grasp. It was almost as if one second she was there, then the next she was... not. With a final, cordial wave to Misaki, Masami headed off, taking a sip of tea as if nothing happened.

She'd have to talk to the other members of the group later.

Misaki got up and followed her as quickly as she could asking, "Oh so if you're late you can't do the tournament? That would be really bad! Hey if I do your homework will that help. I want to help you Masami-neechan! It'll be fun! You can help me learn more about Kendo so I can cheer better, okay?"

Misaki, for being petite had long legs so she was able to keep in step with Masami easily.
