Aoi, Misaki ([info]pinksunbeam) wrote in [info]disappear_rpg,

Who: Misaki and Open
When: Day after Tanabata
Where: School ground in the morning
What: Just being her normal lovable self
Why:Things are getting back to normal.

Klip klop, klip clop the sound of racing feet across the main campus road startled some girls as they headed for the first hour of classes. Misaki ran past them waving cheerfully, practically glowing with delight. She nearly skipped as she called out to them. "Good morning to you two!"

Hurrying down the lane she waved at people as they called out to her. It was actually nice to see her more refreshed and full of energy again. The gloomy Misaki had put a damper on some of the students tempers, and stomachs seeing as she gave out snacks when she ran into them. But today Misaki seemed normal again, and that was a plus.

She rushed up to the yard by the High school and crept up behind Kozue, throwing her arms around the smaller girl and giggling gleefully, "Good morning Kozue-chan! I'm glad to see you! Do you need me to carry those books for you? They look kinda heavy. Oh and did you remember to bring lunch, if you didn't you can have mine!"

Kanaye looked at Misaki with distaste and a bit of fear. Given her actions yesterday, this could mean one of three things:
A) Misaki is bipolar
B) Misaki IS very manipulative
C) Misaki is a shadow/about to be a shadow

Kanaye really hoped it was the first one, but he severely doubted it. He sighed, walking away. He did NOT want to see what Misaki's dungeon might be.

Misaki waved at Kanaye happily, "Goodmorning Sempai. How is Akuba-san?" She smiled brightly as she clung onto Kozue. "You did give her a good night kiss didn't you sempai?"

Kanaye stared. This chick was more insane then the rest of the group combined. This...was kind of scary. Kanaye turned around and started walking away VERY quickly.

"Awww, Sempai. Don't you at least want to say good morning!" She cried out to him and pouted sweetly. "He didn't want to say good morning. Booo."

Somewhat groggy from a late night, Kozue had been just-slightly-not staggering up the walk to the school building. Tanabata had been fun, but… well, why couldn't they have had the next day off? Sleep in, sleep off hangovers and other lasting effects? Ugh. School.

She hadn't heard the klop of running feet, in fact, hadn't noticed Misaki until the other girl's arms were already around her. Kozue let out a short, surprised squeal, something in the linguistic family of kyaa, and struggled to turn around and get a look at her would-be-kidnapp—

"Misaki-chan?"

Deep breath. Another deep breath. It was not a sack-bearing mask-wearing stranger come to nab her in broad daylight. Or the Yakuza. Or an angry ex. It was a brilliantly cheerful Misaki. Kozue managed a relieved smile. "Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't hear you… I mean, these don't feel too bad, and my lunch? I don't," a pause, "What did you make?"

Taking advantage: how do you resist?

"Well Anpan, cookies, ah...well whatever I could make this morning. I kinda don't remember." She giggled some happily. "Space case and all that. But here you can have it. I can just make more."

"Well, I wouldn't want to take all of it," Kozue said, painting a smile on her face and wrapping her free hand a bit tightly around her book case. "But… I do like anpan."

Something in her blazer pocket buzzed; a cellphone text alert? She glanced down, briefly curious. "We can share. I'd love to share."

In case it was poisoned because Misaki had totally lost it. (Or worse, this was the Other Misaki.) This was beyond the normal caliber of Misa-Cheer, especially her exchange with Satou. And, since Kozue could see Satou out of the corner of her eye, holding a cellphone… had he texted? Could that have been him?

The cuts had reopenned. This event had no connection at all that Maeko would admit to the fact that whenever Maeko let her mind rest, her hands suddenly became very, very itchy. She had certainly not resumed her mad scratching the second Kanaye was gone and only stopped when she realized she'd broken the skin again.

She recived the message before she ran into Misaki and decided that she didn't care. She didn't care so much that she was going to head for the roof and wait in that room for further news.

Festivals had always exhausted Renju--not that that was terribly hard, truth be told, despite her stamina having improved over the last several months. Still, her gait was much slower than usual as she slogged her way to the main high school building, her satchel slung over her back.

Her cell phone buzzed in her pocket; she ignored it for the time being. She'd check it before class.

Misaki had slipped away from Kozue and Tom for the moment and had made her way down the hall, almost skipping. She noticed Renju and slipped up behind her blowing softy in her ear, "What are you doing Sempai? You're not being a gloomy bear are you? That would be a bit sad wouldn't it."

"W-what the--!?"

Renju literally jumped a couple of inches into the air, somehow managed to land with something resembling grace, and whirled around to face... Misaki? Trying to calm down and control her breathing a bit, she swallowed hard, her face slightly flushed. "What was that for, Aoi-san?"

Leaning up against the school, Keiichi had recipes flowing through his mind. He'd just read a good one on how to make lasagna. It would be something new and exciting.

Sadly for Keiichi, as per usual, he is somewhat oblivious to things.

The wall wasn't especially comfortable, but it was what he had for the time being.

Masami yawned a bit and took a sip of her tea. She had been at the shrine helping them clean up after the festival until late the previous night, so she was pretty tired.

Another step, another yawn, another sip of tea.

Suddenly she felt her phone vibrating; apparently it was a text message. She wasn't really felling like reading a text for the moment, so she decided to put it off until she was at school...

"Umm... I wasn't really planning on reading them... just drinking the tea. I was up late last night helping at the shrine so I'm kind of tired today..." Masami replied.

"...Well... I guess if you want to read them..." she began before she remembered hearing about some sort of brouhaha involving a pink-haired girl and some others at the festival(not Masami's words, but rather the words of Shirou's grandparents, who had told her when she had run into them toward the end of the festival). "Oh, Aoi-san... I heard something happened to you last night. Are you OK...?"

Yoshimi was in high spirits. How could she not be? The birds were singing, the sun was shining, her OTP was together... and that was without taking into account the two admirers who had come forward in the last week, or the fact that she'd won herself a goldfish at the festival.

Silently debating what to name said goldfish (because Fishy just didn't have the right ring to it), she traipsed along the path to class. It was truly a beautiful day in Yoshimi-land.

Kouchisei looked down at the boxed lunch balanced on his lap. The sick feeling in his stomach had come from seeing a third-year eating a burger, and though he thought him an idiot for eating it so early he was wondering what it tasted like. He knew why - he just wanted to eat something other than rice, fish, meat and pickled veg.

He pushed his glasses up, and then stooped to put it in his bag. When he lifted his head, there was Misaki, being all chipper.

Suddenly, he wished it would rain.

Misaki was crouched before him smiling to beat the band, "Hello there Sempai? Hummm what do you have in there? Oh bento again. That doesn't make you happy does it. Hummm, I can make you something if you want? Will it cheer you up?"

Misaki nodded in a solom way that implied she really knew what she was speaking of.

In a quiet corner of the school's courtyard, Toru sat beneath a tree, with a piece of melonpan that was functioning, for the time being, as his lunch. His real attention, however, was focused on the MS Handheld Gaming System he had balanced on one knee. The otaku was completely engrossed with whatever game was inserted in the system, observation of the outside world at a minimum as he dutifully tapped away at the touch screen.

Misaki's arrival jolted Toru out of his mindset, which resulted in a flashy "game over" screen. That's what you get for playing on the hardest difficulty level, self. But the loss was enough to snap him out of it enough to register the girl sitting next to him. His posture straightened, and he smiled.

"I-I'm just playing this little shoot-em-up... um, Golden Flyer Mantis X. It's a niche series, and i-it's pretty hard..." He pointed at the screen with the stylus. "S-see? I actually just lost."
