Who: Misaki and Open

What: Just being her normal lovable self
Why:Things are getting back to normal.

Klip klop, klip clop the sound of racing feet across the main campus road startled some girls as they headed for the first hour of classes. Misaki ran past them waving cheerfully, practically glowing with delight. She nearly skipped as she called out to them. "Good morning to you two!"

Hurrying down the lane she waved at people as they called out to her. It was actually nice to see her more refreshed and full of energy again. The gloomy Misaki had put a damper on some of the students tempers, and stomachs seeing as she gave out snacks when she ran into them. But today Misaki seemed normal again, and that was a plus.

She rushed up to the yard by the High school and crept up behind Kozue, throwing her arms around the smaller girl and giggling gleefully, "Good morning Kozue-chan! I'm glad to see you! Do you need me to carry those books for you? They look kinda heavy. Oh and did you remember to bring lunch, if you didn't you can have mine!"

Misaki giggled some, "Boy Tom-san. You really must want to be laid badly. I'll leave you two alone then. See, you're nice and all but, I don't really get into guys that don't understand the idea of caring."

Misaki ran her hand up his shirt, "I'm sure though that with some training from the right girl, you could learn to. Maybe then I could give you a spin, till then, I suggest you just stick to that car of yours. It won't kick back if you don't give it enough gas."

Renju was fiddling with her phone in the meantime, reading the text in question--which only served to confirm her suspicions. Another victim. Not unexpected, but still frustrating. At least it explained for (relatively) certain what was going on with Misaki.

She'd only been half-listening to the exchange between Tom and Misaki, since she tended to tune out background noise while she was reading, but Tom's last comment made her look up sharply and glance back and forth between the two of them. Surely he wasn't being sincere, given his usual awkwardness with her... but then, she also knew his track record when it came to breaking into places.

Just as she'd decided that it didn't really matter, Misaki was... that was a little too blatant to be called 'flirting', wasn't it? Unless she was implying... With a quick shake of her head, Renju put her phone back where it belonged and shifted her satchel uncomfortably. "I'll leave you two, then." With that, she hurried off, trying to push the whole scene from her mind.

Tom was left standing alone in the hal. He hung his head and thought for a moment. The notion that something about Sonozaki was effecting him had begun to worm it's way into his consciousness.

As soon as he realized it, he grabbed the thought and jammed it as far down as he possibly could.

He rubbed his eyes, and marched off after the shadow. All that mattered was the mission, and if he couldn't get Misaki alone, then he was going to make sure was never alone either.

Misaki looked back and sighed loudly, "ARe you sill following me Tom-san? THat's rather rude, you know. Maybe you should go play with the other children right now. I have class to get to." Misaki told him in a rather teachesque tone.

She headed down the hallway waving at people and grinning happily then turned around and stared at Tom. "Are you going to keep following me like this Sagaki-san?"

Misaki crossed her arms.

	Tom crossed his arms, mirroring her stance. "When have I ever done the polite thing Aoi? And yeah, I'm going to keep following you. After all, I heard about what happened, and I'm worried about you. 	Misaki grinned happily, "Yes in a way. But you know you don't have to follow me all the time Tom-san..." She moved closer touched his face, then suddenly kissed him full on the lips in front of everyone in the hallway. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Tom could have avoided the shadow easily. But he needed to convince it to come with him, and so he just took the kiss. It couldn't be any different from a physical attack right?

When her lips touched his his whole body tensed though, and he put his hands on her shoulders barely stopping himself from pushing her away.

When the kiss stopped, he looked at her and tried to smile.

"See you're my friend. You're the only person here I know actually cares. Why wouldn't I want to spend as much time with you as possible?"

"Because you're a liar, and liars never are fun to play with. They only hurt me in the end," she said with a happy look but the dark tone was clearly there as she pushed him backwards into one of the walls. Misaki ran her hand up his shirt.

"Your body is tense, your heart beat is racing, you're terrified, so very very scared Tom-san. You really don't like me doing this to you. So you wouldn't be able to give me what I really want. It's kind of sad, for a while I was thinking of going out with you. But now I see that it would have only been me chashing after someone who has no idea how to handle something as simple as a loveing kiss." Misaki said and leaned up again kissing him harder, and grinned, "Too bad."

	Tom's hand snapped up to her arm, and gripped tight, he spun her around, so he was pinning her up against the wall. "You want to hear the truth? 	Tom's face darkened. "Who do you think you're playing with kiddo? You just shoved me up against the lockers and started making out with me, no one's going to think you need saving. And it's me. "But see...are you going to be able to really save her? I'm a lot stronger then she will ever be. She needs me to do this since she can't seem to get it in her head of what she really is...and well, you know...when she dies, it'll remind everyone that they should have been more loving to her." Misaki said to him with a chuckle. "Seeing her face when she learns of all this...it'll be priceless. She'll have to love me again."

	Tom frowned, and is hands slipped from Misaki. He realized that he wasn't prepared to go into Paradise. "I'm going to find you again.
