Sweet and Sour Dungeon...Act 1
Who: Exploration Team.
What: Dungeon crawling.
Where: Gingerbread Dungeon crawl
When: June 22nd
Why: Dungeon crawling, have fun you lucky ducks

The group finds itself placed in a very sweet setting, the world around them is covered in well white icing on the ground, and various gumdrops that lead the way around a gingerbread bricked path, with chocolate icing on the edges to make a nice touch. The path leads down a long front yard dotted with trees made from fondant (cake decorating stuff that's like candy) and hanging off them are chocolate kisses, pepermint drops, lemon drops, and other assorted fruit candy.

Toru sighed nervously as Maeko walked away. "I... I hope she doesn't get lost. This place doesn't seem safe... a-and our team is small as it is." He was somewhat worried, but not extensively. The others on the team knew what they were doing, but still... it was still a lot less backup than if the whole team was together. When the party was split up was when it got the hardest to fight enemies, right?

	Kanaye sighed a bit and turned to the other two members of the group. "I'm going in after her. She shouldn't be wandering alone." he said, heading towards the path Maeko took. Kanaye just quirked an eyebrow, and checked his cellphone. He hit the speed dial button, and sure enough, Indra popped out, though he looked a little irritated. When Indra noticed there was no shadows around, he glared at his summoner. He looked towards Maeko, laughed a bit, and then left. "Well I don't seem to have that problem. I wonder why? Maybe she hates you? I wouldn't put it past her."

He blinked at the other team members before smiling and waving. "Oh, we were just looking for you guys. There are a lot of shadows, and we didn't think we can take them on our self."

	"Oh...I hope not." Maeko mumbled until they ran into Kozue. Maeko shook her head. "I think they all lead to the same place. There's a lot of shadows there but they're docile enough. Before Toru had even the chance to give some kind of irritated protest to his senpai, he was gone. With a sigh and a glare in the direction of his two missing classmates, he sat down, not seeing the point of moving on any further.

"E-even if he is in love, does he really have to abandon us like that?"

For the first time (but certainly not the last), Toru found himself missing the rest of the team.

	Kou, and Toru were not the only ones left to the mercy of the shadows. Tom had managed to find his into the clearing and spotted the other two men staying there. He moved quickly two join the two, flipping out his weapons. He was unwilling to leave the two to fight on their own, he thought maybe if he didn't say anything he could avoid interaction. 	Toru groaned. He was fighting alongside Tom and Kou, two teammates he could probably stand to do without, and between the three of them there wasn't a single healing spell. The least he could do was weaken the foes for his friends, and maybe absorb some of the damage intended for them. "D-damn! Kanaye and Maeko sure picked a good time to go running off!" Kou's first reaction was to back up. His second was to check behind. It wouldn't hurt them to try and run, he thought. He returned his gaze to the Shadows, except his chest rose with anger when he looked at Tom.

"You selfish idiot! Going off and coming back like some big damn hero. Thought you'd find Misaki-chan faster? Don't be stupid. You wouldn't last two minutes on your own. And you put everyone at risk, including yourself!"

	Tom looked at Kou with a frown. "I came in here to do the mission. I didn't even want to deal with any of you. But I'm not going to leave the three of you alone to face all of these shadows. They weren't going to run? Yoshimi blanched, suddenly very, very much aware of her inability to heal anyone if things went badly.

"L-let's just focus on the fight for right now!" She was not going to admit that she was terrified of the Shadows, not when two of the boys were nonplussed enough to ignore them in favor of their own quarrels. Instead, she downed the rest of her Bromonade and took a fighting stance. "We can finish this fast, guys! I-I've got enough taurine in my veins to take down ten of these things!"
