Kou's first reaction was to back up. His second was to check behind. It wouldn't hurt them to try and run, he thought. He returned his gaze to the Shadows, except his chest rose with anger when he looked at Tom.

"You selfish idiot! Going off and coming back like some big damn hero. Thought you'd find Misaki-chan faster? Don't be stupid. You wouldn't last two minutes on your own. And you put everyone at risk, including yourself!"
