Everything was set to perfection. The fine china was set out, the house elves were dressed in fancy clothes, and Narcissa waited patiently in the living room for her guests to arrive.

	Severus watched the by-play between Potter and Weasley with interest. His brow rose when Harry switched their seating assignments, but he said nothing. He waited until they were both seated before taking his own chair between Harry and Lucius. Severus nodded to Lucius as he sat down, barely sparing a glance to Harry and Ginny. Ginny wanted to jump up and hex the stupid git, but fought against the temptation. For one thing, it would be near suicide in the Malfoy manor, and another it was almost irrational. Just because Snape was there sitting smugly at knowing Harry better than she did didn't mean anything...

She clenched her fist under the table and made a quick face towards him before glancing away.

	Harry grabbed his napkin off the table, following Snape's lead, and draped it over his lap. Merlin, he was going to be parroting every movement Snape made that night.
