At breakfast, before the food is served, Headmaster Dumbledore stands and commands attention. He raises his wand to his throat, and begins another of his infamous welcome back speeches.

"Welcome back to Hogwarts, for all those who left. For those who stayed, thank you for making it a rather joyous time. I have a few announcements, and then will let you eat.

To start, the eleven am to four pm rule will continue, for now. We have not had any outside attackers in the past few months, and with the added aurors and student guards, I rather think it is going quite well. In addition, the rumours you have heard about quidditch are true. We will get started with our first game next weekend. I will not bore you with the schedule, but the dates have been posted.

Also, an interest to you all, exams will begin on June 13th, and will run until June 30th. Once again, I cannot stress this enough; if you are feeling unwell or an unexplained injury, please come to the hospital wing.
