WHO: Dylan and Gideon
WHERE: Gryffindor!
WHEN: Monday night
WHAT: Gideon finding Dylan.
RATING: Low?
After writing back and forth with Dylan, Gideon had been confused. He was absolutely wretched at picking up on signals, and the whole conversation just went right over his head. Gid wasn't sure if he had agreed to help her with Paul and Chase directly, or if he had agreed to help her find a bloke. Either option wasn't anything he really wanted to do, so Gideon had just decided to back off. Instead, Gideon had tossed his journal aside and eaten some candy. He wasn't sure if he gave off the appearance of a candy-crazed freak, but that was about all he'd gotten for Christmas. He wasn't complaining, it was just odd. Although Gideon enjoyed candy every now and then, this supply was likely to last until next Christmas! He knew half of it would be given away, one boy just can't eat that much.
He'd looked for Fabian, but couldn't find him. Ever since Christmas, Gideon's twin had been acting strange. He now knew the reason, but that didn't put him at ease. Out of all people, Gideon never expected Fabian to get hung up over one girl. He was like a mini Sirius Black - there was always another choice. Gideon wasn't really a spout of advice for his brother, and had felt pretty guilty. At the moment he was still debating with whether he should ask Molly for advice, or not. Fabian would probably hate it - but Gideon could always "hypothetically" ask.
Once Gideon had his fill of candy, he threw his stash under his bed. He was actually surprised it fit - there was no telling just what was under that bed. Bounding down the stairs, Gideon looked for Dylan. He hoped she was here, because there was no way he'd be getting up those stairs - he'd tried before. Squinting, Gideon finally made out Dylan's body and made his way over there. "Dylan!" he called, before leaping onto the couch beside her. "Told you I'd find ya."
