It is my son's birthday on Thursday. In my mind, he should be turning four, but as the island has it's own ideas, it looks like it will be his eighth unless things revert by then.

Well, I think I shall give him some sort of treat in Florida- what would anyone from the time suggest? He's never had a party before, and- he hasn't experienced much that this time has to offer, either.

And of course- anyone that would like to celebrate with us is welcome, especially if you have children.

The timelines are terribly confusing.

Wait half a mo...! I mean: honest, dear, I think that you really need to rest, because the whole idea of forgetting whether your son came to you here at aged two or three is just... ridiculous to me, and I'm the one dealing with Pregnancy Brain now....! Urgh, men!

Yes, when I- left home, he was two, nearly three. He was brought to me afterwards, and judging by the look of him, he wasn't much changed. If we went by our own timeline, he would have had his third birthday some months ago. But, as it is, the island brought him here at an earlier month than it had been at home. Therefore, on our timeline, his third birthday would already have passed, and although a full year hasn't passed since then, merely months, I don't know if it is best to age him down to three or up to four. I opted for up, because he hates to be babied. And because he may resent that less when it comes to being 21 etc.

Am I babbling?

A little bit, but it's cute fine anyway's...! I understand you completely - and it IS rather cute! I mean, I think that I understand you completely... which is...sorta scary, given how long we've really been living together, as opposed to how long we've supposed to have lived together, given how old Bumby is now!

Hmm. Not many people tend to understand me so soon. Perhaps this is why we end up together Yes- does it really scare you?

Hmm. No, not really, I suppose; it's just a turn of phrase, one which apparently I overuse I guess.... Sorry dear!
