I sit listening to my oldies but goodies songs on my old music player. And this one song comes on and instantly I hate that I didn't go through the door. I hate that I didn't go 'home' while I could.

I'm going to regret not seeing his face, her face. Not... Exacting vengeance when I could. It's because of him that I'm so... fucked up. For the things he did to me, for the things he probably did to Sean when I had to leave or die.

I didn't go because I wasn't sure if the universe there worked the same as the ones back home do. If you stepped through a rip in time that the same people were there, either dead or living different lives. I was a coward.

Moral to the story, don't take trips down memory lane if your lane is full of broken limbs, battered faces, and scars from belt buckles.

I'll have to keep that in mind then.

Oh I see, compromising positions too?
