You know, I've never been to a baseball game before.

It's close to under a rock, admittedly. Yes, apparently. We used to play Rounders at school, which is similar.

Aw! I wouldn't call London living under a rock, really! I mean, it's a pretty major metropolitan area, isn't it?

Yes, I was attempting humour. I suppose it is rather difficult to convey tone through text.

Ah I see....! Ha ha ha!

But all the same, well... I really wouldn't want to make that joke to an American, for fear that they'd take you seriously, too... I mean, at least this lady you're talking to knows OF London well enough to know of the city, but you never can tell when someone ELSE might be a little more ignorant...! Heh!

Anyway's, I take it you're from London-town, then? I'm from Cornwall, myself, originally, but -- well, I moved to Lambeth to be a little closer to my job.

I simply meant that it might as well be under a rock when it comes to baseball. There are also residents on the island who come from worlds where London doesn't exist at all.

No, I'm from Scotland, although I was educated at a boarding school in England so I lost the accent.

Ah! I see...! Well, I'm sort of the opposite: I was English -- well, Cornish I suppose -- educated in Scotland, but... well.. I never really picked UP an accent (save for mine own, of course!) because most of the students were from England...!

It's nice to make your acquaintance, Mr...?

Well, that makes sense.

Bond. James Bond. And you are?

Indeed, I suppose so...! I mean, what are we talking about "making sense" again, sorry...?

Nice to meet you, Mr Bond... I'm Parnel Jugson... Auror Parnel Jugson, to be precise! Sorry, I'm new to this island, if you haven't figured that out already...

Why you would keep your accent, and I would lose mine.

Good to meet you, too. And yes, welcome.

Ah, yes, of course...! Sorry for being so damned thick...

Anyway's, thanks very much, Mr Bond...!

Say, I don't suppose you know of where I might find a place to stay...? I mean, the cafe booths are a little cramped, really, though they are nicely padded... that is to say well -- I've been sleeping in the cafe, the past couple nights, and whilst it was fun at first, like a sleepover, or a campout... Well, it's sort of getting old now...! Heh!

Yes, have you seen the two tall apartment buildings? They're two of the few buildings with electricity. You can find an apartment there. There are many that are still empty.

Ah, those are apartment buildings? Boy, do I feel thick. Again! Heh! Sorry, Mr Bond, sir...!

So... I could have an entire apartment to myself? Really? That sounds like a dream come true, really...

Maybe I WILL like being stuck here on this island, without so much as my bloody passport! Ha!

Yes, they are apartment buildings.

Certainly. They are rather spacious. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a combination living room/kitchen area.

It's not the worst place to find yourself trapped, no.

Four bedrooms? For serious? What on EARTH will I do with FOUR damned bedrooms...?

And -- two baths...? Honestly, that sounds like Heaven, really - but maybe I'm only saying that because of my whole boarding school experience...! Heh!

Yes, wonderful. Enjoy yourself.

I've always wanted to visit there and catch a game or two of cricket. But I guess that won't be happening now. Although, I did go for like a minute, Big Ben is pretty cool.

Well, you never know. A door might open up and give you the opportunity.
