I do so love the spring, although I wish I were back in Ithilien, to see it bloom without the darkness of Mordor to mar it. But I suppose I shall never see Ithilien again, or the White City sparkling in the sunrise.

I wonder if I shall ever feel at home here. It is so strange to me.

I'll talk to Tony, and see if you can come up to the sundeck at least. He might need a bit of DNA or somethin'.

I lived outside of this little village, on a farm. An apple orchard. This time of year the trees are full of beautiful white blossoms. That's not to say the trees here aren't. But there was nothin' like lookin' over Sweet Apple Acres from the hayloft as the sun came up.

Though I think I miss my little sister most.

What is DNA?

That sounds truly lovely. I was raised in the city, but have spent a good bit of time in the forest of Ithilien, and have truly come to love the trees.

Your sister? Did she die? I had a brother who was dear to me, but he died in the war.

I'm not real sure. I just know he needed some of mine.

What were they like?

Oh, no. She's still alive, just not here. I imagine her and my Granny are tendin' to the orchard all on their lonesome. Though I have to hope that some of the Apple brood has come to help her.

They were but normal trees, but lovely nonetheless.

That is good to hear. I wish my brother would show up here, as it seems here the dead can walk.

Oh, but there aren't any normal trees. They're all different. Like every pony, or person that I've ever met. There's at least 600 species of Oak trees around Equestia alone.

I might like trees a little too much.

Maybe he will show. I know there's people of legend here too. So if they can show, surely your brother can. Mine's here.

You are lucky that he is. I miss my brother very much.

It took him a little while to get here. I was without him for right about six months. But I'll keep up hope for your brother to get here to, so long as you do.
