I do so love the spring, although I wish I were back in Ithilien, to see it bloom without the darkness of Mordor to mar it. But I suppose I shall never see Ithilien again, or the White City sparkling in the sunrise.

I wonder if I shall ever feel at home here. It is so strange to me.

I'd say you're welcome to come up to Stark Tower hand have a look, but I don't know that JARVIS would let anyone up this high. But it's right pretty seein' the sunset and sunrise from up here.

But I know whacha mean. I miss home. I miss my friends. Even though I have so much here, it don't

I thank you for it, nonetheless.

What is your home like?

I'll talk to Tony, and see if you can come up to the sundeck at least. He might need a bit of DNA or somethin'.

I lived outside of this little village, on a farm. An apple orchard. This time of year the trees are full of beautiful white blossoms. That's not to say the trees here aren't. But there was nothin' like lookin' over Sweet Apple Acres from the hayloft as the sun came up.

Though I think I miss my little sister most.

What is DNA?

That sounds truly lovely. I was raised in the city, but have spent a good bit of time in the forest of Ithilien, and have truly come to love the trees.

Your sister? Did she die? I had a brother who was dear to me, but he died in the war.

I'm not real sure. I just know he needed some of mine.

What were they like?

Oh, no. She's still alive, just not here. I imagine her and my Granny are tendin' to the orchard all on their lonesome. Though I have to hope that some of the Apple brood has come to help her.

They were but normal trees, but lovely nonetheless.

That is good to hear. I wish my brother would show up here, as it seems here the dead can walk.

Oh, but there aren't any normal trees. They're all different. Like every pony, or person that I've ever met. There's at least 600 species of Oak trees around Equestia alone.

I might like trees a little too much.

Maybe he will show. I know there's people of legend here too. So if they can show, surely your brother can. Mine's here.

You are lucky that he is. I miss my brother very much.

It took him a little while to get here. I was without him for right about six months. But I'll keep up hope for your brother to get here to, so long as you do.

Winter sunrises in Egypt are my favorite, especially in Luxor or by the Pyramids. The desert appears awash in fire, the ancient temples and monuments washed clean in the morning light and the Nile banks never seem so lush as in the clear light of early morning.

The city here is vaster than anything I've seen before, and such an odd jumble of differnt styles without any sort of order. I think it will be some time before it seems normal to us, assuming we're stranded here.

I know nothing of this place you speak of, and yet you paint such a vivid picture in my mind that you make me yearn to see it.

It is odd indeed. I still know not what to make of it.

Egypt is a long river valley surrounded by desert of one kind or another, and one of the areas where civlization first developed on Earth. The land is awash in ancient buildings and monuments, and to me is one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen.

I often wonder if our lands are at all similar, but this leads me to think they are not. If it is as ancient as you say, I think I would have heard of it. Although there are many places I do not know, away east.

It is several thousand years old, so you would have heard at least something of it, even if the tales bore little resembalnce to reality.

I've come to the conclusion from what I've heard that your world and mine would have been quite similar as little as five centuries ago, with the exception of the magical creatures that exist in your own. There is no such thing as Dwarves, Elves or Orcs on the Earth I come from, save legends told to frighten or entertain children.

Perhaps so; I know little of your world, although I would enjoy hearing more.

A world only of men? How sad that would be.

I'd be happy to trade stories of our two worlds over a meal and a pint at the pub, your world sounds fascinating as well. As for a world only of men, it may not have diversity of intelligent species but that is more than made up in the range of cultures across the planet.

When I could get myself up early enough I loved to meditate at dawn and watch the way the sunlight lit up the buildings around the Jedi Temple. Coruscant is a city that never sleeps, but it does slow down by dawn and it is fascinating watching it pick back up as people began their day.

I too wonder if I'll ever see home again.

I knew my home in so very much darkness, I was looking forward to walking through the forests without fear.

Perhaps you will, some day. Trust in the Force, or whatever deity you believe in. This is all happening for a reason.

I don't think I'll be going home. How can I when I'm not even human anym

A reason? What reason?

Ah, the minds of the Valar are far beyond us, I suppose.

...I honestly don't know. But I have to believe there is a reason.

The reasons the Force does what it does can elude even the wisest of Jedi Masters, something I'm nowhere close to being.
