It's a man thing. Survival of the species, that whole thing. Back in the day having sex as much as possible was very important and now it's just who we are.

Éomer and have decided it's about the same, really. Men think about sex a lot, but so do women. It's a misconception that it's just a man thing. It's just that women aren't expected to be as open about it.

Women aren't as obvious about it neither. I mean if I usually think about it, at least I can hide it and just say I was outside for a bit if I aint in proper company.

In Dol Amroth, where I was born, I know that women weren't supposed to let on that they liked it at all, or that they desired it. But it's different in Edoras, where I live now. For one thing...we don't have quiet bedrooms with thick walls where we can hide away. Everyone kind of sleeps on the floor in the Great Hall, and you just kind of look away. Granted, Éomer and I have a little alcove that's more private than the rest, but there aren't any doors or walls, just a curtain. So we all pretty much know what everyone else is doing, and privacy comes in just not paying attention. And I was horrified at first, but it's really not something to be ashamed of. We all have desires and there's nothing wrong with it. It feels good, and as long as both parties actively consent, it's a wonderful thing.

Oh wow, I don't know that I could go and do it where everybody could hear me. It's awkward enough knowin' my brother is just downstairs. Though I can't say I'm really thinkin' about that when me and Tony are intimate. It isn't till the mornin' when I face Mac at breakfast and he's snickering at me, that I go all red.
