Good morning.

Our next town hall meeting will be on Saturday, March 26th, 3pm at [location].

Attendance is not mandatory in any way, but everyone is very welcome. We will not be doing any lengthy introductions this time, but if anyone has not attended before and would like to introduce themselves to the community, you are encouraged to do so.

If anyone would like a copy of last month's minutes, you can let myself or Miss Citizen Becket Liberty know and we can arrange that.

I have noted already that we will be hearing from Applejack regarding agricultural needs, and Dr Cuddy will be speaking on behalf of the medical staff. If anyone else has any points for discussion they would like raised, you can let myself or Katherine know in advance and it will be added to the order of business to ensure we cover it. There will be time set aside for open discussion, so don't worry if you don't get your point 'in' on time.

Maryanne, are you able to provide snacks again?

Maria, are you able to set up the holographic interpreter again?

- Alexander Hamilton.

Yeah, absolutely. Protective magic is something I've spent a lot of time on.

I can cast a protective charm that will last pretty much as long as I want it to on a specific place, or piece of clothing-basically anything inanimate. Or I can cast them on individual people, but these only last a little while.

They can also be invisible or something you can see. The basic ones can't be seen and if someone tried to get through them or hurt someone they were cast on they act sort of like a shield. The only downside to these is that I would have to designate who would be excluded-so if someone you were worried about at first wanted to take the stage after you, I'd have to release the charm. If it were cast specifically on you or on some clothing, it would just protect you and a small area around you. Maybe if I cast it on a podium for those speaking to stand behind it could work for everyone? If have to test it.

But there's also one that creates a barrier that looks like fire. If you're inside the barrier, your enemies can't pass it, they're blocked and burned, but your allies can walk through unharmed. Who is able to get in or is kept out is personalized based on who is inside the barrier at any given time, not by me when I cast the spell.

This is fascinating, thank you for being so informative.

I think casting it on a podium would be best. Things have calmed down a lot now, but I'm still wary, and would rather anyone wanting to speak had that extra security while they were talking.

The barrier that looks like fire - would you be able to see past it, is it just low or would it cover the full person?
